i have my slayer set to where it goes full throttle at the end of my servos pull, and when the brake goes on it doesn’t pull back the throttle but it will pull it back to idle, just not pulling any further back than idle, my problem now is my throttle is sticking open, like its not stuck in the carb, but my spring doesn’t pull it back strong enough so it just returns to about half throttle

I’ve got problems with my throttle linkage , sit’s idling fine but after putting breaks on the linkage doesn’t go back to the start point then the car wants to rev high doing my nut in lol

Please please help me my nitro stampede will just rev up when I give it throttle and I will not move what do I do I accidentally hit a curb and when it’s off the ground it runs it on the ground it is not move

Check your clutch shoe spring, may have broke the spring. With the nitro stampede from what I read on traxxas forums you have to pull the motor out to get to the clutch bell. Pull off the c clip and then pop off the clutch bell, and see if your spring is broke. The spring should have a long spring that sits down in a groove on your clutch shoes. If the spring is broke it’s not Engaging the clutch bell. If this doesn’t help, just go on traxxas forums and read around. Cause I have a Traxxas Nitro Sport .15 TRX and just got it out of storage after replacing wore out parts, and got a new factory replacement carburetor. 6.0mm bore. And I set my idle gap to 1.0mm to 1.5mm what traxxas calls for with the carb. And the car wanted to take off and run away, and my idle was super high. It turns out my clutch shoe spring broke and wire a grove into my clutch bell, the clutch shoes were fine but I replaced the shoes, springs, bell housing. Currently waiting on parts to fix it. But if your car isn’t moving when you give it throttle sounds to me like your spring is broke because your clutch isn’t Engaging your clutch bell.
