When Miss Tina passed away it almost felt like I lost a family member. I had a really hard time with my identity when I was a child. This was the early 70's and I'm biracial. I dealt with a lot of racism. When I saw Miss Tina, she was everything I wanted to be. She was beautiful, talented and so confident. Her skin tone was close to mine. She had no idea that she helped a little biracial girl from Detroit survive! Continue to R.I.P. Miss Tina!
You ain't seen nothing yet. look at these same songs in her last tour (2008). She was 69! She did 90 shows for that tour. She and Cher are the most ageless performers that I can think of.
