In this part of the PRR in 2021 series, come along on a tour of the Harrisburg Transportation Center. Built in 1887 by the Pennsylvania Railroad, partially destroyed by fire in 1904, and operated by Amtrak since 1971, the Harrisburg station has a long history.
I'm always taking suggestions for new PRR in 2021 videos. If you know of anything built by the PRR that is still in existence today, let me know in the comments!

Very nice video. My father's headquarters was about 100 yards east of the station and I spent some time wandering around the station before it looked this nice. (He retired from Amtrak)

One of my favorite stations ever!
They did a beautiful job on the station. I didn’t realize it was this big. We are going to make a day trip over this way this summer starting at horseshoe curve.
It is a really impressive station. It's cool arriving on Amtrak and getting off the train under the train shed. I didn't realize how rare that is until I was doing the research for this video. Sounds like that will be a fun trip! Horseshoe Curve is one my favorite places!
