Great stuff Arne. In that first match where you talked through the lines....and where you could potentially lose the game....then find out they had double hexproof with the Shardmage's Rescue....making you look 7-Head with the galaxy brain ð§ not only with the play but with your commentary. Thank you ð and keep bringing the smoke ð
Would love to see another UB midrange video. Been struggling against the new gruul/rdw builds with all the burn upgrades from FDN and less reliant on pump spells. Thx for the sweet upload
@@lufiay9269 Same Iâve been bouncing around lower tiers of Diamond with Arneâs Dimir midrange build and canât seem to make progress. Went 0-2 today against Red and Gruul burn and prowess
what do you think about profts eidetic memory in the sideboard as an extra plan against graveyard hate? It seems to synergize well with a lot of these cards
Cool idea. I think for this deck in particular maybe not, cause your Overlord plan is already quite good vs GY hate and you are low on cheap creatures to target with Proft.
I like Reanimator but I think BR has better tools for that with Brass Tunnel Grinder and FOMO. Blue would have counterspells but I donât see a lot of upside besides that. Iâd also like to see more copies of Lili in the main deck, itâs just such a good card with the black overlord.
cool deck, do you think a sultai version of it would work as well? (for better answers against artifacts and enchantment. I am thinking about matches against ghost vacuum)
I really try to avoid playing three colours in this format, the mana is significantly worse. I think both BR and UB offer enough strong cards for Reanimator that you can do without a 3rd colour.
You can just kill their stuff and win with creatures and planeswalkers, like I did against the Dimir opponent. You trim graveyard reliant cards when playing against a deck which likely has Vacuum.
@@ArneHuschenbethYT but most of the decks have vacuum in the sideboard (or rest in peace, etc.) and you have expect them, so are you always side out the grave relevant cards? sure the deck can function without them but you have 4 zombifies, 1 valgavoth's faithful, and other cards which feed the grave. maybe you haven't met many GY hate, not sure, but I was wondering what can you do againts it
â@@szabolcsdavid2893 I've answered your question already, I am not sure what you would like to hear. UB doesn't have the ability to remove Vacuum effectively, so your way of beating it is to trim gy reliant cards. And with the Overlord package you are able to do that while still having enough "power" left in your deck to win. Against RIP you could play Withering Torment or Feed the Swarm in the sideboard.
I think there is a little too much graveyard hate for this deck to be constantly strong seems like it will be. A meta game call where people run hate deck gets bad because people are running ghost vacuum, leyline of the void, scooze, rest in peice etc.
hey Arne, love yours vids with the insights and overall thinking. keep em up!

I've been missing a good reanimation strategy in standard since rakdos Atraxa. Fingers crossed for this one

This deck is sweet. Iâm already 4-0 with it on ranked Diamond. Like the ability to go more controlling post-boarding
With a backup plan against grave haters is the key
Nowhere to run seems like a good sb consideration

Keep up the good work.
Low key the 720p is tough on these old eyes. Love the deck though
Arne would you substitute either Floodpits or Kiora into the WC Dimir midrange deck? Or any other changes with Foundations?
No new cards for the archetype unfortunately.

Oh, yeah. You can find some mill cards in Green and good reanimator targets like Hauntwoods, Lumra.
I really try to avoid playing three colours in this format, the mana is significantly worse. I think both BR and UB offer enough strong cards for Reanimator that you can do without a 3rd colour.
what can you do with ghost vacuums on t1 from the opponent? do you have anything to deal with that? maybe splash white for artifact hate?

Hey Arne, is your name Huschenbeth or Schmitt, your intro has me a bit confused. Great content as always!
It's Schmitt, I played all of you all along! (I just say my name fast and it sounds like Schmitt)
Do you have a "toc" to move mouse so fast we can't read cards? Soo soo boring. Nice deck TY anyway.

TURN 4 VALGAVOTH made me quit the game.... and that is in std... dont like it.
