Legend of Success Joe (weird title) is based on the legendary manga (1968-73) called Ashita No Joe (Tomorrow's Joe). The main character being a poor, rugged boxer, that fights his way up to the world ranks. It's a really good story. Unfortunately, the game doesn't appear to be anywhere near the quality of the manga.
Amazing tool for video game preservation as well as accessibililty. I prefer to play on original hardware when possible... that said, I believe emulation is super important and I do use emulation frequently (either via hardware-based FPGA emulators or via software emulation).
