- Cor blimey! Just when you thought last years Blackjack Typhoon display couldn't be matched ;) This was probably the most vapour I've ever seen appear on the Typhoon during a single display routine.
Flight Lieutenant David "Turbo" Turnbull is a pilot on top of his game and sure knows his jet inside out. Absolutely Top draw.
That inverted negative-g pull up at 5:33 was immense, not seen it performed like that before! If you're making vapor on the under side of the wings you're doing some incredible flying manoeuvres ;)

Not at the airshow but saw the Typhoon go along the seafront in Bexhill yesterday. Impressive seeing that alone!

So maneuverable this aircraft. It would be a holy terror to an enemy in a close quarters aerial dog-fight with guns vice AAM's. Gotta love the Allied paint scheme with the candy stripes too.
Hi Kev - Can you humour me wrt those candy stripes? Seeing more of them recently. Invasion markings from D Day? A bit of an omen??
@@scottgilbert6301 Hi! Yes, it's a 'throwback' to D-Day 1944. Not an omen, except that NATO wanted to signal unity when Russia invaded Ukraine 2 years ago. If I remember correctly, it originated with the 50th anniversary of the D-Day landings in 1994. Then revived in 2022 as Russian air incursions into NATO airspace increased after the Russians attacked Ukraine. Thanks!
It is a Holy Terror. It was designed to be the most manoeuvrable fighter aircraft ever, and uses the British Metor Air to Air Missile System, the most advanced Missile System available, which can be fired over the Shoulder. It also holds records for Time to Height.

Time to call the ghostbusters, re all the ectoplasm on the a/c - It's "been slimmed!". Incidentally, y am I seeing more a/c with zebra stripes on them? Thought that was a D Day thing.
