I wanted to thank you again for this guide, was able to melt the new floor 12 haha was running a very copium amount of crit rate/crit damage ratio with R3 WGS(was running 51% crit rate 200% crit damage). When done correnctly, the melt done is soooo satisfying to watch haha
What do you think about a Kaeya + Rosaria Setup? Just skipping the anemo for easier rotations, youre missing a bit of dmg because of the kazuha buff, but Melt Rosaria is pretty strong aswell
Whats the difference about non c6 bennet, i have bennet c6 and kazuha. How does he take advantage?. Also is there a comp with diona c6? I got them by accident along unforged r2(this in 30 wishes), and i dont know what to do with these two.
The C6 Bennett rotation get's more reactions/hits in and it's also a lot more consistent because kaz ult is active for a longer part of your combo. Diluc's ult animation is pretty slow and takes up a lot of the kaz ult uptime, so using it at the end of the buff window is pretty advantageous. C6 diona might work in the kazuha/sucrose slot here but her buff isn't as good as the other two so I didn't test her out.
Not the exactly same no. Once pyro overtakes, it's impossible for cryo to take over back unless u start with new enemy. For Xingqiu, it's possible. Xingqiu applies much more water than kaeya's ice, however, C6 kaeya makes Diluc melt consistently and works similarly like Xingqiu yes. C6 Kaeya makes the melts more consistent, gives him energy regen, and makes him do more damage so it's a big upgrade. He'll still do less damage in single target than a stacked XQ but in aoe it can be close. Diluc does more personal damage in melt. Overall I feel like it's a matter of preference, both will get similar results if played right.
Ganyu's burst has an internal cooldown of 2,5 seconds / 3 hits on her cryo application. Rosaria's burst has no internal cooldown so she can apply cryo faster than Ganyu.
Blackcliff isn't worth a buy IMO, with stacks its better than archaic/tuna but without stacks it's barely an upgrade if at all. If you've got nothing else to spend your glitter on though go for it.

C6 Bennett adds no pyro application, it's just a pyro infusion which Diluc already has after ulting. The reason that it's more consistent is because you can start your combo earlier utilizing the pyro infusion, meaning you get most of your combo off before kazuha's cryo infused ult ends. During the kazuha cryo ult infusion the melts a lot more consistent, meaning C6 Bennett allows you to take more advantage of that. Non c6 Bennett means you have to ult during kazuha's ult which takes up a couple seconds of the up time cause of Diluc's long ult animation time. It's still entirely possible without C6 Bennett just the timing has to be right, hope that helps.
It depends Sucrose C6 is GOOD enough, it will do the vv buff, you will get the EM buff wich is pretty nice here, plus 20% bônus cryo (better dmg on the cryo suports) Kazuha is quite different His swirls can give u 20-40% of elemental dmg, no EM but 30% is pretty nice, his dmg will eventualy come, and he do hit hard.
ah man i'm sure you will show to make diluc great again, i personally think that the Xingqiu version is easier, but the rosaria/kaeya version you did all over these year are PERFECTION, so satisfying to see, and replicate as well, even though i'm obviously way less invested than you, it serves great enough that i can full star the abyss with diluc team not doing (on average) over 90 seconds, of course im not talking about those chambers that u need 60 seconds or 40 seconds to clear, but generally the average 90 seconds for each half of the chamber. thank you, i hope to see your content more, and hope to make Diluc great again. oh and i wanted to ask, i have been looking at your content, but is XQ diluc combo has similar results? i'm not really that convinced, the explosive power and short rotation is looks really good timewise. thanks. edit: i also commend you for the 4 emblem Kaeya with PJC, it was kinda crazy even before reaching C6, with abrely enough ER on Kazuha and bennet as well even with using Alley Flash, not even aquilla or Mistsplitter or Skyward Blade. really epic gameplay. anyways thanks again
The xingqiu version is less dps generally in trade for comfort. Funny enough, double swirling with kazuha and getting proper reactions can be trickier with xingqiu than kaeya because xingqiu's orbital application can troll pyro swirls. Oftentimes I see people not end up swirling pyro or even worse infusing kaz burst with pyro and missing all their vapes. The reason it's less dps is mainly cause of rotation length, Diluc's burst is 12s cd, Bennett 15s, Kazuha 15s, Xingqiu at 20s with a 21s rotation because of his e cooldown just doesn't line up that well, and his personal damage in comparison to a C6 Kaeya isn't necessarily better in ST much less AOE where Kaeya gets a huge advantage. All that being said there shouldn't be any issue getting full star abyss with vaporize with Xingqiu, but for someone like me that wants to use the best team and get the best clear times I go for melt. I also find it a lot more fun to play which is a nice bonus.

It hit's hard, and is really satisfying especially looking at your numbers at late game scaling. And just like playing Tartaglia we can't over extend our on-field time even jn Diluc's case, since doing reactions even for one hit woth those buffs is far outdamage hitting multiple times without the reactions or buffs. Oh BTW thank you as well for the damage comparison between WGS-Redhorn-Bacon weapon, it actually kinda surprised me how all three weapons have almost same amount of performance, just minor difference like more or less10% i think if i'm not mistaken. I have WGS and bacon, but no redhorn. Currently at 95%Cr and 194CD with only... I think close sround 200 EM, or maybe just 187EM, attack is ±1400 closely.(i think the 20% beacon haven't kicked in) I know i'm no where near your ratios like those satisfyingly and beautifully 74-283(or 285%) and such with redhorn, but do you think those rstios are good enough? @pulyn Hi. 6 months later and I want say that in calcs I think melt diluc or vape with yelan is his highest dmg teams. Particularly melt diluc which is his highest. I look forwarded to playing with diluc.
Rainslasher R5 is as good as Rainslasher R1 in this comp because the passive is never active. I'd recommend just sticking with xingqiu as R5 Rainslasher is one of Diluc's best options in that comp.

diluc scales off crit rate so if you have the rate over let's say 60% WGS is better

The swirl reaction has priorities and cyro is last so make sure nobody has pyro aura before swirl I think
