A few years ago my husband and I didn’t know what to do for our anniversary so we just got in the car and drove. We ended up at Siesta Key and loved it! We shopped and ate and watched the sunset on the beach, it was beautiful and relaxing! We’ve been thinking of going back and now that I know a few more things to check out I think we’ll head back for our 13th anniversary in January! ❤ Thanks for the video!
You should do a video on Myrtle Beach SC probably in the summer, the most northern part of Florida, atleast it has that Florida feel to it,it kind of reminds me of Daytona Beach.
Thank you so much for this video! we plan to visit at the end of October. do you think that the weather is still good then? I would love it to be warm enough for the beach but not too hot.
SK is the GOAT! However, it sure has changed for the lesser over the past decade, unfortunately. Not quite the perfect spot it was 20 or 30 years ago, sadly. Part of the problem is just the overcrowding, especially near the Public Beach.
I agree, we have been going there since 1970, every year with my parents, then with our kids. It was a nice secret then less crowded then seen so many changes. It’s still beautiful but now to popular! And touristy!!
I know there’s a trolley service that operates once you’re on Siesta Key and there’s a trolley that operates in Sarasota. But I don’t believe there’s one that will take you from downtown to the island. However, you might want to check out Sarasota County’s Breeze OnDemand service. It might have some options for you.
Not that I owe you an explanation or anything, but I had a severe speech impediment when I was a kid. Years of speech therapy and broadcasting professionally helped refine my voice. And yes, you might hear my voice when you’re working drive thru some day.

Thank you for this! I’m going next month and the food I was finding wasn’t up my alley. But the ones you showed are!

October is usually a good time to visit. But we do have tropical systems pass thru in October occasionally, like last season.
Exactly why I moved here!

@@jackg.2780 Yes, for sure!
I plan to stay in Sarasota. Should I rent a car or uber or is there other transportation options to get to Siesta Key? Which is the best option?

Why is Chad wearing a coat?
Can I get beverages and food to the beach?
Why are you wearing that big coat?
Well, it’s not a coat. It’s a hoodie. And it was chilly the morning we recorded that portion at the beach. We shot standups early in the morning.
