Thank you. Please share a picture on my face book group page. If the emblem is small enough you could use some 5 minute epoxy and make it for under 10$
great job! this is so inspiring man im gonna give this a go. could you have putty filled and sanded back all those imperfections for a smoother finish tho?
Beautiful results. They just look better and better! Gotta wonder though... flour and rice... shot glasses... you gonna start doing projects made with food next??
Thank you! I left the resin overnight as well as the paint. I only made a couple but I would imagine you could make hundreds with how the mold holds up.
KC. I was wondering if you would consider making me an LED emblem for my vehicle? I don’t have your skills or patience. But would gladly pay for you to make me one if you would consider it.
I have not responded cause I have been considering it. Email me here with what the emblem is and what price you were thinking of. (I'm not saying yes lol) kcreationsutube@gmail.com
I think it would be pretty easy. I would lay the carbon in, just put enough resin to saturate it, and then come back and fill it. I could be wrong but that's where I would start.
Would it be best to make the emblem from slicone resin or epoxy resin and also can you add metal flake to it and possible to do like food dye before it cures to get it like a tinted look
I would think an emblem from silicone would be hard to attach and paint if you're going for the same effect. I have added metal flakes to both silicone and epoxy and I really like how it turns out.
What are the measurements of your mixtures? What is the clear and blue liquid that you mixed? This is very interesting I would like to try on an upcoming project.
Did you add a mold release agent (mineral spirits and petroleum jelly) before you put the epoxy? I did see you used it before you put on the silicone on the emblem.
I’m trying to reproduce some classic car emblems. I really like the idea of installing lights on them. I may try to put lights in them before I put the final resin. Have you ever put tape lights in your emblems?
22g wire is good for just under an amp and each 5050 LED is approx 60ma so you should be able to run 16 in parallel, however, I would stay to 10-12 and say you need more, like 20, then do 2 sets of ten in parallel and join them with a higher gage wire where they combine. Remember I'm not a pro but I would go with this. I would also wire them up and see how hot they get if you want to make sure.
It's been soo long. In the epoxy I believe I used single strand dog fence wire 20g and 18 going from the assembly to the truck wiring itself. Both because I had them lying around. I spliced mine on the positive of the drivers sire running light in front and the back is on my small trailer plug. Hope that helps.

I probably missed you saying something about this because I’m working and trying to watch the video at the same time, BUT how did you anchor it to the vehicles so it wouldn’t come off? It doesn’t look like it has the pegs for the clips on the back. (Sorry if this is a dumb question, I’ve just never seen emblems without the pegs to be clipped into the grille)
Wow dude that is pretty sick was wondering if you could do letters like the ram letters for the grill I could send you my front letters looking to add lights in between the 2 letters please lmk if that's something you would be interested in doing if yes please lmk cost I'd like white lights in the letters . Those emblems are sick great job love it
Excellent Video! Thank you
That is so fkn cool!! I've gotta try that on my Chevy!!
Please share a picture of it.
Amazing, super cool effects...love it, clever! Rock on!
Thank you. I might revisit this one one day.
That's a great idea. I got to try this on my motorcycle emblem

Ya, I kinda wish I did. When it's done can you share a picture for me?

awsome work..
Thank you. 😀
That looks so cool! How long does it take for it to dry? How many of the emblems can you make before they start to get distorted?
Thank you! I left the resin overnight as well as the paint. I only made a couple but I would imagine you could make hundreds with how the mold holds up.
I want to try this on my suburban
Share a Picture if you do I would love to see it.

Very cool! I been making silicone molds but wanna lay carbon fiber in them for my badges. Any ideas to help?

ngl pretty cool
Thank you!
Super cool. The green ram looks radioactive. Where did you take the voltage from to run the LEDs?
I took it from the running lights.

I think I put it in the description. Would love to see how your project turns out.
I need one like that for a 87 monte carlo ss
That was my First car. Perl White with T-tops
Would be cool to see the same emblem but with RGB chips.
Yes and controllable!
Did you add a mold release agent (mineral spirits and petroleum jelly) before you put the epoxy? I did see you used it before you put on the silicone on the emblem.
Hello! Yes add mold release both times I have forgotten and it worked out ok but I would recommend just doing it.
Thank you for your quick reply! Once again Great Channel!
@@Belvedere-vm9ep I'm glad you are enjoying it. Can I ask what you are making?

@@Belvedere-vm9ep Yes and it turns out awesome. I do think the more lights at lower power is even better. Move even light
Would wiring these leds with 22 gauge wire be ok? Like no problems with overheating or anything?

Do you mind if I ask what gauge wire you personally used? And which area of the wire circuit did you wire/ splice the badge on the vehicle

Awesome, thank you so much, I’d take any advice I can get lol
Ok Im ready to go out and get everything. 🤔 Question, whats that container you used, the one You tore away with a pair of pliers??
Thanks!

I just happened to look back when I rewatched and saw the tape. Is it 3M tape?
@@catherinecrump8454 Yes it is 3M tape. They are staying on strong even. Sorry I didn't get notified of these messages I try to respond to everyone.
KC can you send me a list/link to the products you are using wanting to try doing a 2015 Ford F-250 front emblem
I just found it on your page... I appreciate it
Glad you did. I would love to see it when your done.
@@KCreations4You yes sir
Can you make on for acura ?
It would work yes but at this time I'm not going to lol
I am in need of these exact molds, any chance you could make another pair and sell them to me?
I dont want to make it a business atm
can you make this bigger
Only if you had a bigger emblem or if thingyverse had a 3d printable stl that could be sized up

I'm not doing this as a business cause I would have to charge way too much but love the idea
