Great tennis player and an all round good man. Can only wish him all the best in his future exploits. Has given us GB people such pride in all he's achieved. We will miss him . Thank you Andy
Andy Murray has to be one of Britain’s greatest ever sportsmen. I feel immense pride for what he’s achieved. I feel as though I’ve watched him grow and mature as a person as well as a tennis player. What a journey! 🏆 🏆 🏆 Davis 🏆 and 🥇 🥇
Loved watching every tennis match you ever played. So sad your no longer going to be in any of the tournaments but I wish you and your lovely family best wishes and whatever path you decide to take in the future I wish you every success 😊
Don't think I will watch another person like Andy in my life time. I found him entertaining, funny , smart, an amazing tennis player, the heart of a lion and so enjoyable to watch. Absolutely deserves all the credit he has been given. He has earned, GOAT in history. All the best for the future
Djokovic invests massively into giving opportunities to children in Serbia, and Nadal has a tennis club in Mallorca for children from disadvantaged backgrounds. It's not like the big names are doing nothing.
@@EkiAyanru well Nadal is the ambassador for Saudi Arabian tennis, so arguably he has become a sellout Though Federer does have a big stake in On, which is sponsoring a lot of up and comers in terms of gear.

@WillSavage I'm not disputing that he was a great player. He was the 4th best player of his era. My only contention is that he is often included as part of a "Big 4," when really it was a "Big 3." He was a distant 4th. And that's not a criticism, and there is no shame in that. It's just facts. Unfortunately for him, arguably the 3 greatest players of all time had parts of their primes during his time as a player.
@@FrankieBlueEyes your intial comment was not so nuanced, it was a visceral reaction to somebody crediting AM. Your need to immediately blurt out that he lost a lot of them was completely pointless, everyone knows he doesn't have a winning record against them but you still felt the need to write it for some reason.
All the best for your post-tennis life Andy, loved watching you from afar as a Brit living in Switzerland. To achieve the following in the era of the big 3 is completely insane: 3 GS 2 Olympic Golds 11 GS finals 10 GS semi finals 1 ATP tour finals title 14 Masters 1000 titles Year-end No1 ranking (only other guy to do this other than the big 3 between 2004 and 2021) He was absolutely the best of the rest, yes he was clear of Del Potro and Wawrinka. The big 3 would always want to avoid him in the big tournaments, always. He's also beaten the big 3 a combined 29 times, way more than anyone else. Big love to you Andy.
Great, a dozen interviews just before retirement and a dozen just after. Looking forward to an interview each month post retirement. Even Andy must be sick of British media by now asking the same freaking questions.
I loved watching Andy Murray. But my biggest thing i respect him for is how he and Roger were pushing so hard for good drug testing to keep tennis clean. They wanted anywhere, any time drug testing, meanwhile Novak and Rafa were absolutely against it. Coincidence i think not. Thank for being an amazing yet clean athlete. Along with Roger the best two clean tennis players ever
An amazing player. A shame injury stopped him accruing more trophies but to have won 12 of the 16 big tennis trophies (fed won 13 and nadal 14 AFAIK) and of the 4 he didnt he reached the final of 3. World number 1 etc. A true 'big four' player, ofc not quite a GOAT but he was right there with them for almost a decade
Just watched Emma Raducanu lose to Badosa, her aggressive style of play has disappeared. Andy please step-in here and become her coach, she needs your help.
What's with Sky randomly asking him about Nadal. Literally forcing Murray to sing Nadal's praise, while not asking anything about Novak? What twisted agenda is sky trying to run?

Andy won 12/16 big trophies fed 13/16. I think wav won 6/16. People that only look at slams love to suggest Andy was just a challenger alongside wawrinka but looks at the full tennis calendar 2008-2016 Andy was far more comparable to big three and thats why there was 'big four' for so long as people expected Andy to not get injured and accrue more slams, he was also constantly winning / taking trophies off the big three. Wawrinka just had 3 crazy anomaly slams
@sherman4970 Andy won 3 Olympic medals, 2 Gold and one Silver, the only man to win 2 consecutive singles GOLD medals. 3 Grand slam titles, USA Open and Wimbledon 2013 & 2016, 46 ATP titles, 2016 ATP Finals Champion and year end World number 1.
