George Macheka I cant find a video but he played a song before this and went crazy on the guitar and I think he was still tired during this performance
I dunno... Silversun Pickups is my favorite band of all time, but their live performances are lacking in fidelity to the original songs. Like, bands like Muse have fantastic live performances. Most of the time their live performance sounds even better than the studio version. SP is kind of lacking imo
Lord Mango I find they’re actually pretty good live. I’ve been let down by bands that I’ve expected to be really good, and this hasn’t hit that low point. Unfortunately the way Brian sings, his voice gets worn down easily. That coupled with certain song parts that are difficult to emulate in a live setting.
Lord Mango I’d beg to differ. I’ve been to tons of their shows and they never disappoint. Brian always has so much energy and Christopher’s drum playing is amazing. Nikki can our grooves and riffs like crazy and Joe ties everything up. Brian’s voice is a lot better now and their performances are amazing. If you can check one out for this new tour!
I love them too, but I agree. I don't know why but every time I've seen them live, they've played perfectly, but the sound coming from the stage is empty and quiet... so strange.
@@JonnyBuck14 that would be from using amp simulators. unfortunately a lot of bands these days connect guitars straight to the venue PAs digitally and don't mic amplifiers on the sage.
Definitely go see them live ❤
that l;ittle riff around 2:37 is nasty, i love these guys
AHH LOVE THIS
Epic.
Nikki looks almost perfect here.
Nikki is just the best
Good
the lead singer is breathless from playing a guitar and walking for like 2 Minutes
