What's different between the Miyota 8215 and 8315 mechanical movement? Which one is the better movement? They are very similar, but there are some key differences. Learn about them here!
8315 is newer production so they all should hack. Some 8215 production has been upgraded to hack but not all. Visually you can see the hacking brake lever next to the balance wheel on both of the movements in this video.
@@ronak4195 Miyota is slowly adding hacking to the 8215 and 821A. I purchased a 821A (which is the decorated version of 8215) from aliexpress and it includes hacking. I ordered another 8215 which was advertised with hacking but haven't received it yet. I posted a video on the hacking mechanism if you're interested in how Miyota engineered it into the existing movements. It seems 8315s are difficult to source.

hey there Thank you for your feedback! 😊 Maybe you a not a fan of 8 series. How about the 9 series? The Miyota movements, especially the 9 series, are known for their reliability and precision. They typically have an accuracy range of -10 to +30 seconds per day1. Many watch enthusiasts appreciate their performance and durability. We are planning to launch a watch with 9 series. Maybe you can give it a try later? =)

is 8315 as noisy as 8215?
no not at all, it needs a quite room to hear it that too after placing a ear on watch
Do you use 2813 movement??
Good one 👍
Thank you! Cheers!
Are both of them hacking?

Only worth getting the 9000 series miyotas
Why? My 8204 runs at +4sec per day straight out the box. It hacks, hand winds and is very inexpensive.
Damn also art de geneve damn
How can you silence the rotor noise on the 2815?
what about hacking?
8315 has hacking , don't know about the other
