I recently did a vinyl plank floor in my coronado. Wood wasn't an option because I pull stepdeck, always in jobsites, muddy boots and water. I used frostking hvac insulation, aluminumized on top like Boom Mat. Then I laid down 1/2 pvc sheets, 4'x8' and then the flooring. I used clear caulking at the tongue and groove joints, to keep moisture from weeping through the joints. Great job on the Pete, enjoy the content, thanks.
I think now that I know we live only a couple miles away from each other that I may hit you up one weekend when we're both home and stop by and look at your progress. Looks like you got it under control. Can't wait to see you ridin down the super slab
A cheaper (hush mat) you can get for the floor is Frost King 0.125-in Foam Plumbing Pipe Wrap Insulation. You can buy it a lowes or homedepot for $19 same material as a hush mat same quality. Hope info can help. Im restoring my 91 flattop as well. Keep up the good work 👍
