- We all encounter difficulties in life, and we can’t control everything that comes our way. But we can always choose how we react. Do you immediately assume the worst and focus on the negative? Or do you tend to see the positive?
Find the Positive. It's there in everything, and you can find it, if you choose to look for it. All you need to do is broaden your scope for a moment and view the situation in a different light. It enables you to look for the goodness in yourself, in others, and in the world around you.
Rather than observing the glass as either half-full or empty, we can learn to enjoy it. We can choose to drink life and then find ways to refill it.

I remember being in the hospital looking at my residual limb after my leg was amputated , thinking ," Will I still be ME ?" At that very moment, my nurse came through the door and I said something that made her smile . And I immediately thought to myself ," Yep, I am still ME " It occurred to me that who I am is deep inside of my being , I am who I am with or without my leg . This video is so very encouraging on so many levels. Thank you ✌🏿❤🙏🏿

Today I woke up in a grumpy mood. I was grumpy all day. Thinking I'm such a nice person then why do people force me to not be one by taking my kindness for granted.
But the moment he said...I don't like being grumpy. It doesn't do you good or anybody. For some reason him saying this made me smile and my frown was gone.

Man after my own heart, I have experienced a few very bad knocks from people who were close, people I trusted to a fault. Never, ever have I lost faith in people, never have I lost optimism, and I remain positive, despite the missiles that fly past me while I have to dodge them. Don't let it/them change you, stay positive. This man is an inspiration to me x

If you look through the glasses of optimism you are so much more able to face the things you might call obstacles... But looking at them with optimism you realise that they instead are there to teach you something that you can learn and grow from... I am so fortunate being born an optimist, of course I also fall down, but only for a while.... Then I rise again being more wise then before.

My mother is having her legs amputated today. She is in a lot of pain. I hope she gets some relief if they are able to operate on her. I'm so grateful for these videos, the wisdom and words of encouragement of your subjects is a blessing for all.

Have been in hospital for the past few days. I started an online Grief and Loss support group and was looking for a resource to share with my new friends whilst I recover. This has been good for me and I am sure it will be great for them.

Thank you for the wishes. I am in Namibia 🇳🇦 not too far away. Happy to say that we will have our Sunday support group session, I am back home, safe and sound and a Covid-19 survivor. It's not a myth.
I am relieved I can continue with the work I have set out to do. People are hurting. They just need a real listening ear without the "busyness".
