The boat in Cannes Show and as well the pictures you have on this one, show so many sharp corners, is it so complicated to smooth them ? Why it keeps happening in 2023? Other than that, you guys are building awesome dreams, thanks and congratulations for that.

The full carbon XP edition of the 580 runs about $450,000 more than the standard Carbon Cross version. But the Carbon Cross version is already quite light.
I noticed the same thing, but took it to be more a comment on the time to get such a large project moving forward from concept to actually building hull 1, 2, 3...
@@mochifanta exactly! Its literally a brand new design that still needs to be re-worked and drawn on as the build continues. Constant back and forth between the shipyard and naval architects. I mean he said multiple times that the biggest focus is to get to floor level. That means that all the precise details from the naval architects on the hulls have been met and the rest of the actual boat build can begin. My guess is that Shelly just wanted to critique something because she needs to 'feel' something. All she did here was let us know that she knows zilch about boating or boat building for that matter.
Oh, and by the way, we have friends who own a Balance and it has been a disaster for them. So I probably know more about boat building than you do. Their foam core did not get hit by the resin and it's falling apart. That is not confidence inspiring. We all used to be big fans of Balance, but I do worry about their quality now.
You know what?
If you absolutely love your job, then it isn`t work.
And you two guys are smashing it!
Well done, she looks like another winner !
WOW Fantastic to see you going from strength to strength... one day I'll be ordering mine............
Awesome looking boat! I don't think I personally would want to handle it with just two people though, that's a lot of boat!
Keep the videos coming please 🙏
Cannot wait to see this one in the water! The 580's are going to be amazing.
FIRST! And love the build content. I've been waiting for something new on the 580.

What does full carbon add to the cost to this beautiful cat?

At 1:53 he's asked how's it going. He replies, "We're going now." Is it me or is that not a confidence inspiring comment?
