I always thought the very round part of the mannequin head represented the back of the head but I see yours is the front, like the forehead area. ive been making wigs for years and never seen it used tht way! i need to try it your way cuz my mind is blown lol

Hi, I’ve just started making a wig using a wig head. I have had to undo the wig twice because each time the back of the cap was big.
I measured my head and transferred the measurements to the wig head and placed my cap, but it still came out big. What am I doing wrong? Thank you.

I'm confused, how did you make it a 14 or 13 in the back when sizing when you just moved the wig cap up, soooo the extra inch went into the front ? Isnt that now in the frontal way? Like what did you do to actually adjust that size? Is there extra cap under the frontal were it's now sewed down on top of the cap or? Like .. *update oh you overlapped the extra cap on the band in the front?
