Would be nice to have some engineer tell us which address was meant for what info and how it was encrypted. Much like andromeda research has done in the past.
Im working on one in a similar situation, working after someone. Practically the same situation but after i tried it a couple times to get the ecm to accept the key, the cluster screen blacked out and the miles needle sweeps all the way forward and back. No comms with the cluster anymore. You think theres a way to repair the data? I can desolder the nec chip if necessary
If the programming was corrupted and now its dead with no coms, I would try to write a new flash & eeprom with xprog or just replace the cluster all together since recovering with different flash/eeprom is pretty much same as replacing with another one anyway.
