I think you guys don't get a fraction of the recognition you deserve. Your timing with each other is impeccable... I thought that the timing would be lost in a live setting, but I was wrong. Incredible. You guys are by far the tightest group I've ever seen. Having said that (and in my opinion), when vocals carry a song, as in the original of this piece, a guitar('s) doesn't have enough weight to replace the melody and as a result, sounds weak. Maybe consider 40 fingers +1 vocal chord.
I'm so sorry but I think exactly the opposite, I think that the beauty of their arrangements does not make the presence of an additional vocal chord absolutely necessary.......
