Thank you. It added a different element to the tree. I have another video with a tree with movement to the leaf parts. A Wisteria tree, with more flexible movement!!
When I wrap the middle around my finger to create the loop that becomes the roots, you end up with 30 wire ends to twist and become the tree trunk and branches

I take a small pinch of cotton, roll it into either a ball or long roll. Put it under the wire and put super glue on it. Hold in place for a few seconds while it starts to set. Then when fully set I paint with a similar color acrylic paint as the stone is to somewhat hide the cotton. The white sticks out so easy, it needs to be colored to blend in. Does that answer your question?
Ever tried using catalyst for the super glue? You can also use baking soda to make it set up instantly. But I've seen people use a small spray bottle that sets it instantly.
I LOVE the way this tree turned out and now i want to try this one too. But i have a question...where do you get your wire? and what size is it? TIA :)
I order some on Amazon, being careful to read for length of wire spool. I have also found colored wire in jewelry making sections of Craft Stores like Hobby Lobby and Michaels. Walmart sometimes has some in their jewelry crafting section also. I would love to see your finished projects!!
Hugo A Osario I used 18 gauge wire for this tree. The tree trunk wires are 60cm or 24in long bent in half. 15 wires total with the bent in half creating 30 wires for the trunk. This also makes for 30 individual branch ends. I hope this answered your question clearly.
30cm is what I cut them to. So you are fine with that. The number you need goes hand in hand with your branches. So which ever you start cutting first will kinda dictate how many of the other. For this video I think I did 30 of each. The more you do the fuller the tree will look if that is what you like.
