Its amazing! What kind of glue can i use ??
@@ΒανέσαΦρίγκα to glue the wire to the stone base I used superglue with a little wad of cotton ball. Placing the cotton wad under tree root, then putting glue on cotton and pressing wire into the glue soaked cotton.
@forgingaheadinart thank you very much!
I would like to start making them my self but i have to idea on material and tools, any recomendation, website , or books i could look in to it ?
@@salomonbenalcazar9568 that sounds great !! For tools you can find jewelers pliers at a craft store or on Amazon that would work great for twisting wire. I also order my wire from Amazon too. Search for colored aluminum wire, there are so many choices. Just make sure that you check the size or gauge selection. I use 18gauge wire. Happy Twisting!!
@@forgingaheadinart thanks a lot , one more question fort the tool you used for the leaf have you thougt about selling it, i really dont see any tool like that around
@ I made that tool myself. I have actually considered figuring out a way to make and sell them. Or maybe just make a video of how to make one. But not everyone has access to the materials. So maybe in the future, near future I will get a plan in place.
@@forgingaheadinart if i could give you a suggestion i would look into 3D printing it or maybe similar , but ones again thanks
@ thank you, that’s a good idea.
Beautiful! Wonderful tutorial! Im thinking about attempting one, but I'd like to work LEDs and possibly fiber optic threads into the wires. Any tips or thought's on how to do that?
@@DaddyLagLegs thank you!! I have given that a thought and wondered how to do it. Thanks about as far as I got. Maybe some of those LED lights that look like noodles wrapped around the tree branches after the tree is done? Let me know if you figure out a plan. I would love to see it.
@forgingaheadinart Will do! And thank you! Do you have a discord?
@ no I do not have a discord of my own. I am not tech savvy. Maybe some day I can get a team together that can help with me where I lack skills or knowledge.
@forgingaheadinart no worries! It can be a lot. I know I'm just some rando on the internet, but I'd be happy to set one up for you. No charge. No gimmick. And then give you full control of it and or stay around as an admin to make changes as im able. Your tutorials seem really great and you have a lively comment section. Discord is a really nice platform for sharing and discussing and all that. Just a random thought on my part. I've done a moderate amount of community building on the platform, and I enjoy the process. You seem to have a great community already. Discord could be a fun addition. Either way, thank you for the great video. I'll be using this as I attempt my first wire tree...
@ I appreciate the offer. I will also keep it under consideration. As I build my channel I do want to make additions and changes of the sort you are talking about. Building a TH-cam channel is slow and the funding coming in is even slower. I will certainly keep it in mind. Happy Twisting!!
Not everyone has these tools, what am I supposed to do? 2:10
@@user-zl4xn6bg6s I did not have this tool either. I made mine from a skinny piece of wood, two metal wires that are about 1mm diameter. I cut those from a piece fence. Then I wrapped it all in athletic tape.
