You Never Do This! - Wood Pellet Stove and Testing of Various Pellet Burners

The pellet combustor was tested with a variety of commercially available alternative pellet combustion trays. With the results of this experiment, we look forward to one step closer to optimizing the pellet burner.
Wood gas explosion may occur if the wood gas is full when using a pellet burner. Wood stoves can be very dangerous depending on the situation. Use of charcoal as fuel is prohibited in closed areas, and sufficient ventilation and caution are required even when using firewood.

There doesn't seem to be any warping of the metal like I expected from those food trays. Looks real good! I may try to make one (not this fancy though!)

might be interesting to use a carbon monoxide meter in this tent and see if this system is safe, or are you likely to kill yourself in this tent if slept in?

Impractical stove unless you always have a torch and gas for it !

maybe drop some prelit charcoal in the pellet basket burn chamber, you could do the charcoal preheat OUTDOORS in fresh air first
