It just sits there. You take the burner plate off. Then there is a lip all the way around where the plate sits into. The burner does into the hole and gravity holds it in place. In theory. Thanks for watching

I haven’t used it since last year but still liked it when I put it away. I didn’t see it go on sale this year. But still think it’s worth the money. I did have a heavy icy snow storm on it last year and bent a couple poles but still functions just fine. I was sick and wasn’t able to get out to clear it off. Thanks for watching
Id put a damper on the exhaust, that way even in windy conditions you wont have negative pressure, and even longer burn time,because you will hold the heat in longer and burn less pellets slower
Dampers do help with burn times on pellet stoves but only for a short amount of time, then the draft isn’t enough to continue drawing pellets smoothly. In my testing anyways. Thanks for watching

You didn’t miss it. Without the pellet attachment it’s a rocket stove. There is a thick metal plate that is there usually and you need to take that off to add the attachment. So yes you burn normal wood if you don’t have the attachment. Glad you enjoyed, cheers and thanks for watching
@@voidisyinyangvoidisyinyang885 there is a door at the top of the burn chamber. Most if not all the smoke and fumes get sucked out from the rocket affect when the door is opened. Once the stove is hot it naturally wants to draft up and out the stove.

I haven’t messed with the pellet feed much. I feel you need the constant feed to keep it burning properly. However I get the long burn time when the ash restricts the air intake from the bottom door. Even if the door is closed completely there is tiny gaps and allowing ash to cover them gets me the long burn times. Thanks for watching

Wow, I really like that! Great! Now I have look it up, find the best site to buy from, make sure they have all the add On's for it. See if it's on sale or if I can find anyone's code for a discount. Check to see what credit card will be best for what site. Buy it and the stuff I want to go with it. Go out and split wood for it and go to the store and buy pellets for it. After I find the best deal on pellets. THEN! When it shows up, I have to explain to my wife that you talked me into it, because we need it for our survival gear. I really like the idea of pellets for a hot tent but this one is odd as it vents the air through the hopper for the burner. Most things with pellets seal up the hopper to prevent burn back into the hopper. With this design you have to make sure you have a tall enough chimney and you might have to start a fire first to get the draft started. I like the pellets but i dont like this design.
I don’t think it vents air through the hopper for the burner. It sucks air from the burner and the air intake from the stoves burn box. It’s definitely a different design but not my first that has an open hopper and I too thought it should be sealed at first. Thanks for watching

Stove came from AliExpress and it’s the old model.(haven’t used the new model but I think this one is cooler looking) Hopper came from the linked company in description of this video. @ I have tested 4 different pellet stoves and this one is my favorite. Best burn, longest burn, funniest burn. I maybe testing more this year but unsure as of now.
