We have found the easiest and safest way to SIT IN the hammock chair is: --As you are getting ready to sit in it…stand straight and step backward so that the seat is at a great angle to your rear --Then gently lean back into the hammock. To RISE UP from the hammock chair: --While sitting…with your feet, walk yourself backward so that the seat is at a great angle --Then with your hands on the padded arms, push up into a standing position
This chair was fairly easy to put together, the instructions were clear and I was about to follow along with no issues at all. I also added a pillow for lumbar support because although this is a great chair and is comfortable, it’s not necessarily the best if you’re sitting 10+ hrs a day wfh but in all honesty for the price, I didn’t mind at all. It looks great in my space and easily adjusts the height when needed.
I have one..it is comfortable so far. Haven't sat in it more than 15mins. Bought for $39.99. Thanks for the review. I'm going to sit in again focusing on the leg area .
I also own one. I love mine. It is more comfortable if you purchase a camping stool to prop your feet on. That helps tremendously with the pressure behind your knees!
Is it only me... but she is scaring me when she is rocking so close to the water... AND you can see the surface is not even... I thought any moment she was going to fall backwards.. The video was helpful and informative. :)
Thank you so much for this review! I had the same problem with pressure up slightly above where my knee pit bends & I didn’t like that. But I still kinda want it. I’ll happily pay extra for something more comfortable. I’m glad I did my research
You didn't use the padded head rest attached to the top back. It has a pillow for your head! Also, for those who asked, to put it back in the bag you have to take the seat off, pull the pins out, fold the legs back up and wrap the seat portion around the legs and slide everything back into the bag rolled up.
We purchased one at Costco today (04-09-2023). There are no pins to set in place, and the chair sits up kind of high. Perhaps we have a newer model. Not a fan so far, but I'll give it a few days.
There were no instructions on how to put it together or to sit in it or get out. I kept ending up on the ground. Maybe, someone purchased it, then, took it back, since there were no instructions.

Everything at camping world is an overpriced ripoff.
I used my Dremel to lower it 3" ... much less pressure behind the knees.
If you start watching at 1:14 ... you can get a good idea how to put it back into the bag.
Makes me think what makes the others better with such a high price.
the chair need height adjustment, it is comfy for taller person but not comfy for smaller people.

I can't believe how difficult it is to find a chair that is foldable, has head support and you can sit in an upright position comfortable.
How do you pack back into the bag.?
I like the chair but find it a little cumbersome to put back in the storage bag. Would be improved if the bag would lay flat a be zipped shut
