I am a NYC Metal Detectorist trying to discover new areas to yield significant history to be preserved. We do all forms of treasure hunting.

New follower from NYC Metal Detecting, love the channel! Oh! As crazy as it sounds, don't overlook some of the agates, jasper, and bricks that still have names on them. All very valuable. I have a huge creek where I live and no one but me and the deer ever explore it. I've found crazy amazing relics and natural stones. The Lenape used to live along the water here. Good luck!

@@IndianaTones I'm in Rockland now, but all my fam still lives in NYC, SI, and Queens, so I will never not be "from NYC." 😂 I treasure hunt a massive creek behind my house and have found amazing stuff, steel nickels, tons of silver quarters, half dollars, etc., but I've dreamed of those little bottles on DHB and can't get my mind off them! Don't be surprised if you see me there soon!

I think the standard token is for standard oil late tens to the 40s and the turtle is a Egyptian scarab not a turtle.
The pottery 💙and that half marble, I silversmith and would make into a ring.

Dead Horse Bay.... could be a nice place. I kind of wonder what it would look like in a couple hundred years. Maybe the same as it is now. However, I feel the need to sort out the glass from the metals and begin recycling. Why not build a recycling facility and start there cleaning it up. I would be ashamed if this generation left this behind for the next. I understand though that back in the day, recycling did not exist much. Gotta put it somewhere, but next to the ocean? On the other hand, Dead Horse Bay is a time capsule. There is a beauty in it somewhere within its own mess.

Off limits. It is a national park. Too much iron anyway. It’s a landfill.
@@IndianaTones oh I see plenty of other people doing it so I didn’t know you’re reasoning. I’m not super experienced with it but can’t you discern different metal tones to distinguish iron or precious metals?
