Yea, if only people would take their own trash out with them when they leave the beach. I was on South Padre Island about 4 years ago and it was the same thing ……. the beaches were covered in trash. I was there during spring break, so the beach was a mess every single morning. Hats off to the public works for the great job they do on cleaning it all up..
Ohhhh, if you find enough bottle caps to save(on the norm) there are crafters on the famous auction site or the other famous crafting site 😉 that will be glad to repurpose & recycle them❣ and oh my gosh, the sea glass - i gotta find some, soo pretty!
I love the intro old pictures. I couldn't believe the trash that was on that beach. I have never been to these places. I have only seen NY from the air or a turnpike. That was a very good video. I couldn't believe the condition of SBA coin or even that someone still would be carrying it. You had some nice finds. Enjoyed your video. Have a great weekend. ;D
I moved from Brooklyn 20 years ago but I see coney island hasn't changed one bit , even in the early 60s it was the same way with garbage , what a shame .
I am not near a beach but you would think dumpsters every 200 feet or something that trucks could empty would help, I mean I didn't notice any trash cans in the video wow no idea a beach would look like that, must have been just the holiday bunch? Can't believe the Haul you got though congrats on that, a ton of digging.

The metrocard machines return dollar coins as change when you pay cash. So there is a higher than normal amount of those coins in NYC.
