Walkthrough of the Yaya Center - Nairobi Mall

This place is hot. The best independent bookstore in the known universe. And even an independent grocery store. Even if you're not down with independence, you'll find the Yaya center has beaten Nakumatt at is own game. Its nicer. Better and more beautiful.

I realize this video was posted a while ago, but I bet you did not think it would end up being so useful to me. Thanks. (I was searching for videos of Nairobi because I was preparing to move there, and live near Yaya Centre.) So, thanks again. Also, I ended up visiting this bookstore, you're right; it's great. I wrote a blog post about the place. :) (To the earlier comments: not all wazungu "devalue" Africans or worry about availability of goods when we travel. Some (who never travel even from their own towns) do; and videos like this help change their minds and show them things they never expected to see, teaching those people to change their perspectives.
