    Nice home it’s just too close to neighbors and no land. The way it looks it’s probably one of the most expensive houses in that neighborhood.
    Thanks as always and nice job 👍🏽

      It’s definitely common to see newer homes amongst the older ones here in Atlanta, especially in the city limits. There are other newer homes not far from this one but of course I’m limited on how much I can show in the given time. Thank you as always, watching and commenting. It’s definitely much appreciated 🙏🏾

    I like the house, but I can't live anyplace that doesn't have sidewalks. I need a neighborhood that is walkable, as I like to walk my dogs for exercise.

      That's exactly what I was thinking! ALL the other houses in the neighborhood don't look over $180k (being nice) and then you build a $1.3M house in the midst ????

      Thanks for watching and commenting. As I told another commenter there are a couple more newer homes in the neighborhood but not in the direction of the drive so they didn’t make the video. Even the small older homes in this area are valued 450K+. Location location location ☺️

    Nicely done but at that price point i don't want to be the only nice home on the block. Guess you have to be a pioneer and hope other homes follow suit.

    The concept of the home is nice but some of the rooms/spaces do not make sense, for example the pantry room/mud room, forget the mud room and build it out as full pantry space.

    • @raymondrileyjr
      @raymondrileyjr  ปีที่แล้ว

      Thank you for watching and commenting. I believe with the garage door entrance makes things a little more difficult to just make it a full pantry… well it could be done but look very weird.

    I would be upset if this popped up next door in what looks like a modest older built neighborhood causing higher taxes so that people will move only to have more over expensive houses built in its place

    Hello, beautiful home. Can you tell me what that white box on the outside of the house is? It looks like a water heater, but I don’t think they would’ve put a water heater on the outside of the house. Is it possibly a generator?

    • @raymondrileyjr
      @raymondrileyjr  11 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Yep, it’s a water heater. They can now be placed outside BUT I definitely wouldn’t. They are required to vent but putting it outside is just ridiculous to me but yep they did it 🤷🏾‍♂️🤦🏾‍♂️

    Not a fan of the layout of the house. No real livingroom on the first floor (the one they have is too small and not wide enough), don't like having a laundry room in a junior suite on the first floor. The primary suite is not that large but love the bathroom. The stairway is seriously too narrow, how will they bring up the furniture in such a tiny space!!!! Also the house seems really fancy compared to the other houses on the block, it would stand out too much for all the wrong reasons. The house would be a target, but I love the fact that there is no HOA (it's the selling point of the house)!

    Before I even look at this house, which is quite lovely and I like the landscaping I must ask this question. WHY are you putting a brand new home that ya'll are trying to sell for 1.3 MILLION dollars in THIS neighborhood? It looks like a pretty old neighborhood. Nice enough but I didn't see any particularly large homes like this one. Didn't see any really top level luxurious homes like this one. I imagine the residents of this area might start organizing and start attending their local zoning board meetings and try to put a stop to this. They're taxes are going to start going WAY UP if they allow these oversized homes to continue to be built. And does the average home buyer who can afford 1.3 MILLION dollars REALLY want to spend that money in THIS neighborhood? I get it, times change, neighborhoods can start going UP or they can start going DOWN. I think it's all a matter of again, if this neighborhood gets organized and can stop the McMANSION effect from pushing them out. My oh my oh my.
    2nd part INSIDE: Generally I liked the upstairs better than the main level. Think it was a mistake not to put in a tub in one of those bathrooms upstairs. The one bedroom with its own bathroom did have a tub, but that's probably going to go to the oldest child who ain't gonna want mom and dad coming in using HIS/HER tub to bathe the little ones when there's a perfectly good bathroom in the hallway but OOOPS no tub in that one! LOL. People with multiple children enjoy having more than one tub, besides the master. Liked the small lounge room. That's good! Lower "basement" level. All good except for ONE glaring problem. Not a SINGLE CLOSET in the lower level. C'mon now, you KNOW that family is gonna wanna store games and a whole bunch of stuff and not put it in the garage which by the way isn't all that roomy. I know..I know..you got that one cut out space, which ain't bad but ure gonna be using THAT space for garage stuff! LOL...Now the MAIN level is where I have my biggest problems. First of all, you should have placed that powder room way over by the mudroom over by the kitchen. Then made the old powder room space either a closet or more space for that 1st floor bedroom situation. Second major problem is the first floor bathroom. GREAT bathroom but, you KNOW that's going to be prime real estate for elderly parents! Right? So in that huge walkin shower you should have installed one of those, oh what do you call them, NO LIP entries into the shower area. It's got a step. Much easier if an elderly person can just walk on in. Frankly you DID make it wide enough I think for a wheelchair. So get rid of that step then. Same issue with that gorgeous tub. Just tweak it a little an have a tub with a generous ledge so an elderly person can sit and swivel their legs over into the tub. I'm not asking you to put in grab handles just yet, but hopefully there was space for them. Wonder if you made the toilet area wide enough as well. I THINK you did. Again, just a little tweaking and it would have been move in ready for elderly relatives. As is, people have to spend some money to make it practical. I DID like the idea of being able to put in a washer/dryer. That was smart. Now the MAIN LIVING area is so problematic with that seemingly narrow long room. Just shaking my head on that one. I don't know WHAT to do about that. FINALLY that fireplace location is just plain stupid. Now if that were the SECOND fireplace in the house I'd say all well and good but for it being the ONLY fireplace in the house, how the heck are people going to be able to gather around it? I mean, whoever made that decision should be FIRED. The kitchen's fine. OH I did enjoy some of the tile work in the upstairs bathrooms, though the one bathroom had THREE different patterns going on. Around the tub, one of the floor with a 3rd look on the counter. One too many. Overall nice home, but some serious design issues. The realtor impressed me though in his narration.

    This floor plan makes no sense to me. There is no real living area. The fireplace is in a little spot next to the kitchen and there is a small sitting area across the room. I have never seen anything like that. I would have walked out as soon as I saw that.

    • @chriswilson4112
      @chriswilson4112 7 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Yes I commented on that as well. Very odd. I guess the thinking was since they have that big lower level where the "kids" could hang out that the adults upstairs didn't need that much space but if so, I don't agree. LOL. The "living room" space is very hard to place furniture in.
