- Boldt Castle is a beautiful landmark along the Thousand Islands. I drove with my family down to Rockport, Ontario and took a boat cruise to Alexandria Bay which brought us straight to Heart Island (where Boldt Castle is located). The architecture and whimsical atmosphere of the Castle has definitely left me yearning to return. I hope you enjoyed this video and are intrigued in visiting this amazing place yourself!

I work at Boldt caslte. spend about 5 hours a day there. It is not haunted. Louise Boldt did not die there.

on September 10 2016 3 friends and I decided to take the rockport cruise ,,and the weather became a little stormy ,,what amazed me we had just lightning for about an hour ,,when we came up to Boldt castle we had a big crack of thunder ,,which we didn't have before or after passing bolts castle ,it was so eerie
NONE of the Boldt family would haunt the castle! There are things that happened in the family only a few people know about. And NO George and Louise did NOT break-up or fall in love with someone else. Some of the old people in Alexandria Bay know as does surviving members of the family.
I was there 35 years ago and only felt the "presence" of Jazz age partiers having a great time in the 1920's… Very "Gatsby".. People would "boat over " to the castle and party.
Alexandria bay is my hometown, been inside many times, it's said that the tower room at the top a light can be seen in February. I've been inside this tower and there is no electrical currently
Rockport is not in Kingston Ontario either
I just visited Bolt castle and I got the same problem with my phone. I would get a force close error and not be able to access my camera unless I restarted my phone...weird.
Where was the corridor that gave you trouble photographing?
Just went to Boldt Castle one week ago (July 16) and it was amazing, but I didn't get any sense that anything was haunted. However, I did have a really good time over there. Thanks for the video. By the way, you're really cute. I like you a lot. Please keep making more videos. Have a good day.
The only ghost that should be there is their dog because it was buried there
So a couple years ago i had a dream where i was on the grounds of a small island with a castle on it. at one point i was in the basement which was bricked walled and kind of looked more like a wine cellar. in there i kept seeing the ghost of a girl in a white dress. it was scary though strangely. fast forward still in the dream and im looking up my location on google maps. i see that its in a lake in upstate new york. it wasnt for maybe a year that actually decided to look the place up. to my knowledge i'd never heard of or seen the place so i figured it was just part of the dream. now in the dream the lake was a little lower on the map. more like right above white plains so thats where i looked first and didnt see it there. then i changed my search for mansion on island in lake in upstate NY. this placed popped up and im still in shock how close it is. its been quite a while since i had the dream so dont remeber the exact details but its close enough. my only logical guess is i heard about it off hand somewhere and didn't register it but knowing my personality and interests i feel like i would have stopped to learn more about it. for the life of me i have no memory of this place prior to the dream.

We own land at the Thousand Islands. We have owned them for over 30+ years. The islands is like the best place ever in the Summer! I have been to Boldt Castle many times! I have never been inside.. I understand that you feel 'presence' of some sort . But it truely is the history. If you ever have a chance to stay on Welsley islands you should camp there at the campgrounds.
Up by a Marina dock , there is a hill where a huge hotel burnt down! I go on that hill all the time by myself. I love just
