We just got a lift, and I plan to buy an exhaust for the camino in about a month. I found some nice kits on ebay that should sound and look nice. A dual exhaust is really needed. Sounds good with the muffler I welded on but it doesn't have that same pop through dual pipes. This is the exhaust I am leaning towards. www.ebay.com/itm/194040838252?hash=item2d2dbc386c:g:eb0AAOSwIr5geKNn I used one on my 69 charger and it was actually nice.
On the transmission pan no. Just make sure you do not over tighten the bolts on the pan. We did just replace the dip stick tube. Was having a leak on the old one from the O-ring which left a pretty big puddle under the car. Other than that the transmission pan gasket has been good. On the engine we did have to replace the timing cover and oil pan gasket. Was a pain of a job. We had to lift the motor up with a hoist to be able to get the new gasket in. If i do that again we might just pull the motor to do that job again when it needs it.which might happen sooner than later, I think I have a super slow rear main seal leak but don't really see it dripping yet.
I did this job on a 93 buick with a th125 fwd trans. Thank u for the preperation vid glad to see its pretty much the same for my 74
