I've seen many people that transition from taekwando to muay thai do much better than training just either one from the start. Higher flexibility, more types of kicks to switch up on your opponent in a fight. It does take some getting used to not to bounce everywhere though as it's easy to get your legs swept with the TKD bounce.
Its the " muay thai will literally kill you 💀" " bro muay thai is superior use every limbs on your body did you ever got elbow in your face " "everybody gangsta until they get kicked in the leg " the last one was actually a good joke but these keyboard warrior really are something the use that sentence not as a joke but as a insult to other martial arts as a muay thai practioner myself im actually really chill i got friend that practice shotokan and from that i learn how to add extra whip on my kick
You should checkout Bokator. There is a traditional version and a combat version which is similar to MMA. One of the former ONEFC fighter is a Bokator fighter.
They're called resistance bands. It kind of pulls back your body when you strike resulting in faster speed and stronger strikes if you use it for the long run.
It’s my own brand bro! So yeah they provide resistance so you hit faster and harder when you train with them! If you want a pair, they’re linked below in the description of the vid!
Can you join a muay thai gym and just try learning some of their techniques? I would like to see a video where you maybe spar someone who uses Muay Thai and you who use a good mix of Taekwondo and boxing. Btw please don't just spar some random beginner but spar someone who has been training Muay Thai on roughly the same amount of time as you on other Martial arts. This would be a great video
My own experience I've gotten the ego from local guys. Anyone who's trained or fought in Thailand knows humility is the 1st thing you bring to the gym or ring.
From my experiences with people i met, both muay thai and taekwondo give the practitioners an ego. They’re both still amazing styles and do have a reason for their ego boost (don’t get too full of yourself though) Muay thai is known for being the tough martial art Taekwondo is known for being the crazy fast kicks
Idk, Everytime i watch a muay thai vs tkd match its always the tkd dude who thinks hes the coolest baddest dude on earth, untill he gets low kicked that is, lol.
The hardest working fighter is the recently humbled one. Whenever you feel your confidence going over the roof, find a way to humble yourself. And there is always a way to do so for anyone.
Fact: Kyukushin had history with muaythai and kick boxing was born and no kata fight anymore While Shotokan had history with Savate and became sport as Kata was too deadly In China Kungfu had history with muaythai and became Sanda
Most people talk about "muay thai keyboard Warriors " but they not the only boxing have a lot keyboard Warriors bjj and wrestling have they as well. This happening because they all are martial arts that already they prove strenght are more simple little flash things and people get good at them fast because of that. Taekwondo and karate are more complex need more time to get good movies games and anime make a bad image of them and they get destroed against a Boxer a muay thai fighter most the time This make a image that are bad arts
@@joshua_iyallalol I see the joke he’s trying to make but good points after solidly “mastering” Muay Thai I will try boxing and taekwondo I try to learn from fluidity cause I see MT has its own style of movement and stuff I like to combine everything
Absolutely respect the style but it's practitioners are some of the most arrogant and overconfident people you'll ever see.. They really think they can take on the world
Maybe with foreigners but definitely not with the thai's themselves. But I mean, if you don't think your made of steel and ready to take on the world than muay Thai probably ant for you. Stick to the safe space karate.
"Now remember it's Muay Thai not TKD/Boxing/karate"
Advice you'll at least twice a week after doing 10+ years of martial arts
😂😂😂🙌

Once you get into full contact mentality
Taekwondo is lethal

Many times I almost went down this path. Thank you for reminding me again to be humble. Cheers, mate.

Whats those training bands you're wearing? What exactly do they do? Have you noticed benefits from it?
they provide resistance so you can kick faster when they are off

Basically provides resistance to your strikes which will condition your body and lend out more powerful attacks.

"Muay Thai and BJJ is God!"
Jesus is my God. He is my lord and savior.
Hear that loads

I went down the path of arrogance because I trained. Glad I pulled out of it.
I thought you did kickboxing instead of muay thai
