I am very much pleased with Austin's casual talking. I am a old retired guy and still take English conversation class at a culture center. Definitly, I steal your sentences.
First time watching this, but definitely Japan is known for stationery. I'm from Singapore and loads of my friends talk about Japanese stationery. So maybe not a topic in America, but definitely people do plan to buy stationery in Japan.
When I was in the States, they didn't use any A4 paper but letter sized paper only. I think the Japanese erasers are much better than the American ones. The German erasers were ok. In Japan, the erasers are good on average but the 3 to 5 erasers in a pack for 100 yen are not good either.

Don't forget about the culture of 習字 when you talk about writing and stationaly in Japan.
My wedding ring is from Walmart. It was only 10 dollars !
アメリカ人の会話は10秒に1回は、なんとかlike、なんとかlikeって、likeのニュアンスを攻略しないとどうしようもない。likelikelikelikeって、意味のないlikeもあるのかなあ?
