That’s a really sweet gun ! And yes , Turkey is turning out high quality shotguns for a few big name manufacturers ( Weatherby SA-08 is Turkish made right in the exact same plant that this Tri Star is made .... FACT) and I know for a fact that even some Italian manufacturers send their guns to Turkey 🇹🇷 to have them backbored and finished, but they’d never tell you that ...many parts and assembling is run through the very same Turkish assembly lines that these Tri Stars are being manufactured on . High quality, great ergonomic appeal ( nice Turkish walnut too 😉) you won’t be disappointed with this sweet little gun . I’m not being paid or have any affiliation with Tri Star , just giving you my own personal opinion. Save yourself a bundle of dough and spend your extra cash on ammo ( you’ll see why when you go to buy .410 bore ammo because it isn’t cheap ) all the same thing just a brand name logo that you will pay twice the price for on others . The same holds true for telescopic hunting instruments, most of the glass is being produced through a European company ( Meopta makes glass for many scopes ) and you get very subtle cosmetic differences with various manufacturers logos on the side , but in reality they’re all being manufactured in the VERY SAME plant , same internals , glass , with a different reticle and knobs etc... and above all a different price point to ponder over 😉

I picked up a 12ga TriStar Viper G2 Synthetic last Sunday (The 10th) from a small gun dealer in a local family owned hardware store. Picked it up as my first shotgun, wanted a semiauto instead of a pump action. They had it priced at $509 before tax. Total after tax with two boxes of shells came out to $578.31. Though I'm going to have to pick up some more turkey loads so I can break it in properly according to the manual. Mainly bought it for self-defense and target shooting. :)
