I noticed the mechanic didn't actually show himself putting the new starter in . I got the old one out without removing a bunch of other parts but I had to remove the heat shield and the motor mount to get the new one in.
I have the hardest time with the plug that connects to the starter, I broke the little red tab tryna unlock it to get it off so I had to put a screwdriver on the opposite end to lift it and take off, worked but now idk how to put it back on it doesn't latch or let me slide it all the way on and feels like pressure any helping tips ?
Very informative video. I thank you. Saved me $300 and a month's wait. Keep up the good work👍
Glad it helped!
Got the 3 bolts and the wire lead out but still kinda not moving.

@@gator2813 I put it in the same way I removed it
"That's a dumb design." Truer words have never been spoken. Engineers are the worst.

Your going to have to get a pick tool or something to push back the lock tab. A tiny bit of WD-40 could help
