- Do you know when is the best time to open your PAgIBIG MP2 Account?
In this video we will let you know when is the best time to open your MP2 account. A lot of our fellow Filipinos wait until start of the year (January) to open their MP2 account. Is this a good strategy? When is the best time to open your MP2 account? Beginning of the year? Middle pf the Year or End of the Year?
We will also answer the question if it is advisable to pay in advance your MP2 account. And lastly, we will answer the question regarding lumps contributions if the MP2 account holder can still add on payments to his lump sum contributions in MP2.

@@melodiegicana6744 pwede pa rin po mag open ng MP2. You just need to reactivate your P1 account.
To reactive your P1 account, huhulugan lang po ninyo uli ito. May iba po kaming alam na 1 month lang po pinapahulog ng PagIBIG para ma reactivate po ang kanilang inactive P1 membership. Kaya its good to consult directly with pagIBIG para malaman how many months they have to pay to reactivate their P1 account. Good luck and all the best.

@@sharmaineainallamedo1253 meaning ng lumpsum ay isang malaking halaga, halimbawa P50,000 ihulog ng isang hulugan. Thats lumpsum.
if you deposit a lump sum of 12000 pesos on account x. meanwhile on account y you deposit 1000 monthly= 12000. which of the two po ang may higher interest?

Hi Sir Fermin, I got confuse in about your answer in Question#2. Because in your previous MP2 video, paying MP2 in advance (lump sump deposit) will yield higher dividends. Now in this video, you're saying that paying it in advance is not advisable. Maybe it's just me but can you explain on this further and clarify, please?

I think ADVANCE is different from spread out.
ADVANCE or LUMPSUM is:
Amount: P100,000
Period from : current month (Dec 2020)
Period to: current month (Dec 2020)
SPREAD OUT is:
Amount: P100,000
Period from : Dec 2020
Period to: Dec 2021
Do not SPREAD OUT your payments in MP2.

Nag hulog ako Ng 60 thou nong Jan. 2021 dapat sabihin mo na from Jan. 2021 to Jan 2021 Ang ginawa nila sa payment ko spread out Ng 12 month's hinati nila. Maliit ang kita ng interest compare sa isang bagsakan lang.
Nalito nga din ako. Basta alam ko kapag naghulog ka,automatic for the current month na yun. Hindi naman spread out. At mas malaki interest ng lump sum and advance kumpara sa pa isa isa ang paghulog.

MP2 is activated after making your first contribution. The date of the first contribution also determines the maturity date of your MP2 account. Panoorin po ang aming iba pang mga MP2 videos to answer your question. Good luck!👍

Sir, this is from MP2 FAQS, #8
"If unclaimed, your MP2 Savings shall continue to earn dividends for two more years based on the dividend rates of the Pag-IBIG Fund Regular Savings Program. After the said period, it shall no longer earn dividends, and must be withdrawn or claimed."
Kung tama po ang pagkakaintindi ko, mageearn parin pera mo ng 2 MORE YEARS (kung hindi mo sya naclaim agad). So somehow pwede mo syang iconsider as an extension kung choice mo? At mabigyan ang mga pinakacurrent mong nahulog ng time magkaroon ng mataas na dividend as well? Thanks po again!😊

Sir, may banks po bang pwedeng paghulugan ng MP2 contributions? These times, ang hahaba po ng pila ng mga Pag-ibig centers.
You can try the GCASH facility po. As to banks please ask your specific bank if they accept PagIBIG contributions. Sa pagkakaalam ko po ang aking banks BDO and BPI do not accept PagIBIG contributions.

Sorry po kung naguluhan kayo. In a very simple explanation ganito lang po ang technique sa MP2 - mapa lumpsum man yan, one time payment, monthly payment, etc.
Lahat ng hulog ninyo, kahit magkano pa yan, ilalagay ninyo sa PERIOD covered ay ngayong buwan na ito lang. Halimbawa:
Amount: P150,000.00
Period From: January 2021
Period To: January 2021

Honestly, naguguluhan ako sa explanation niyo po about "wag hulugan in advance ang future months MP2". In the first place, diba pede po dagdagan anytime? Bakit po merong ganyan po?
Pwedeng pwede dagdagan. Walang magbabawal sa inyo na dagdagan. Iba ang “dagdagan” sa “hulugan IN ADVANCE.”

Sa Question #2, bakit hndi advisable ang advance payment when theres no monthly payment naman, i saw one of ur videos about MP2, nag advised po kayo na mas maganda maghulog ng malaking amount isang bagsakan kesa mag monthly, kase mas malaki ang magiging kita neto after 5 years kesa sa monrhly contribution mo.
Tama po ang inyong napanood sa aming videos.
1. Do not do advance payment - nasa video sa itaas ang explanation.
2. One time big time is better than monthly - based on our other video.
There's no conflict with the 2 videos. Bastat sa MP2, ihuluog ang pinakamalaking amount na KAYA mo sa as soon as you can.

Ang punto ko dito ay ganito, upon enrolment, oo magtatanong ang pagibig ng DESIRED monthly or lumpsum contribution. But, that question is for information only - that is not compulsory because...MP2 is a voluntary program. Nasa sa iyo kung magkano at kung anong frequency ka maghuhulog.
I do not believe na sinabihan kayo ng PagIBIG na di na pwede magdagdag kung mag lumpsum. That is NOT TRUE. Kung may nagsabi sa inyo niyan, bigay nio pangalan sa akin, isusulat ko sa MAIN OFFICE.
I can vouch for what i said in my videos kasi ang MP2 accounts ko mismo ang patotoo.
Sana maliwanag. Kung hindi, hindi ko na alam ano pa ang sasabihin ko.
I think what he meant was isang hulog/ bagsakan pero ang period na ilagay mo is 1 month, oct. 2020 to oct 2020
Ex. 1M oct 2020 to Oct 2020 rather than 1M oct 2020 to Dec 2020
