Jenny and MSQC are amazing. I live in South Africa. Climate mainly hot. She inspired me to quilt. We do not have many quilt stores and the fabric choice is limited. So I ordered from MSQC. Quality was excellent, delivery was 3-5 days. Once or twice our customs lost the parcels and they replaced them free of charge. Many months later the goods arrived and after notifying MSQC they informed me that I could keep them so I donated them to a community who sewed quilts for a living. I think they are great and inspiring and wish them well in all they do.

I don’t understand how you get “delivery in3-5 days” in another continent when it’s about 10-14 days here in Florida from Missouri . Are you paying for Express shipping ???

I love MSQC and order from the website often. Jenny, Natalie and Misty are lovely women. The fact that this family brought back a dying town and put it on the map through hard work and sacrifice is amazing. I have been to Hamilton once and plan to make the journey again.
I often watch Jenny's tutorials and found them invaluable for increasing my quilting skills and know how. Makes learning so many techniques mush easier. I live in UK so wont be able to visit or order from the store but Jenny's tutorials on TH-cam show just how generous she is at sharing her skills wherever we maybe

Also, I was up all night before Christmas, doing a binding on a wall hanging. Watched a Jenny tutorial on bindings. I shed sweat and tears over this Christmas gift. Got it done! Jenny at 2 AM got me through it.
One of the best things Jenny says is if someone points out your mistakes in your quilt they are not your friend! I love that. Every quilt has mistakes. The people getting them don't see them. They only see the love you had for them to spend so much time and effort to make something for them.

I have had several quilts finished at Missouri Star. Recently I had a quilt that did not come back so nice. I was crushed. I returned it to them and Missouri Star made it right for me. I APPRECIATE how the fixed it. Thanks all who worked on it. People were telling me not to send anything there again. I feel like they stood behind their service. They will ALWAYS have a Customer in me . Thank you to all those that take our pieced product and turn it into a BEAUTIFUL QUILT !!!

I love the Missouri Star Quilting Queen ( I have a flat Jenny in my sewing room for inspiration). I also loved my local quilt store, which closed after surviving CV19 pandemic by having drive in pick up and Facebook live fabric sales and online tutorials. I love quilting and support anyone who with one machine brought her family back from the brink of ruin. Did I mention MSQC revived her hometown and now it is another mecca for quilting and sewing enthusiasts. I have learned most of what I know about quilting from Jenny, Misty and Natalie. I am a regular customer, watch all the tutorials and especially through Covid they were especially helpful in keeping many of us focused and busy quilting during lockdown. They are like special friends.
I learned to quilt 4 years ago by watching Jenny's tutorials. Now, about 40 quilts later I get many compliments about my piecing.
I've been watching her since she started, she has the very best true personality of any businesswoman I've ever met. I've taken her classes a few times and she is just so down to earth, so much fun, and full of knowledge.

Actually Jenny’s kids started the company and had her do the videos she was quilting for people in the town and the kids wanted to make it a business two of her children I can remember their names but it’s Jenny’s face we see and live. I love watching Jenny and her daughter’s videos! I start sewing and quilting again 2 years ago and watching their tutorials has increased my quilting and sewing techniques! I have made so many new quilt patterns and Jenny has made it possible by my following sling with her! I’m not a pattern girl! I learn by watching! I have been going to craft shows and been sailing alot of quilts! The most popular ones I sale are the little houses, cats, stars, log cabins! If something sales good I will make three or 4 at a time! I’m retired now, and caring for my 36 year old autistic son. He loves going to craft shows with me and meeting new people! I was visiting family in Kansas and took a ride to her shop, because I watched her all the time. She was building the retreat center at the time. She took me up there from the shop and showed me what it was going to look like and talked about the plans they had for the rest of the town. Just a wonderful lady, who has inspired me to make many quilts.

I've been sewing over 50 years and MSQC is my go to online source for all things quilting. In fact it was on of Jenny's early tutorials that encouraged me to make my first quilt. Her videos make everything simple. I love MSQC!
I have met Jenny ( didn’t know who she was at the time) and she was delightful. Everything I’ve ever ordered from MSQC has been of good quality and their customer service is top notch. I’ve asked endless questions and they are always so kind. I enjoy her videos as they are easy to understand and she doesn’t make things 10 times harder than it needs to be. I love MSQC & Jenny Doan.
I have watched the tutorials for years and I have made several quilts using their guidance. The tutorials have evolved though. It’s more about selling their tools. I have ordered a lot of fabric. I still watch the tutorials.
I have tremendous respect for what the Doan family has created. Truly inspirational. I don't buy from them, though, as I find it too expensive. The show quilts are beautiful, but I'd rather make one that no one feels bad about using every single day, balling up on the couch, etc.

I buy their daily deals and sales. I order from the regularly. Every order I get is perfect and the quality is top notch. When I started quilting, I used cheaper fabric, and soon realized that was not a good idea. Now I use only quality fabric so the quilts I give will last. I do take advantage of the constant sales, tho. I also get sales and clearance at quilt shops. I have been to Hamilton once so far, and I really want to go again. It is about 4 hours from our house. I have learned tons from the videos, and I really enjoy them. I guess, my point is, you can really save on supplies if you try, and still get quality. But as for Jenny and her family I have nothing but respect. I called the company once, and they were not open, but the recording said that I could call for help, and even if I just needed to talk to someone. I thought that was so sweet. What other business says that?

I love purchasing sale fabric and precuts from MSQC. The fabrics are fine quality and priced at typical quilt store prices. I prefer feeling and seeing fabric, but there are limited brick and mortar stores near me. MSQC has a huge selection, cheap shipping and now you can bundle purchases over several days for free shipping. Their videos are the best in my opinion and their patterns are affordable. Their primary goal is to simplify quilting and to encourage quilters. They admit their niche is not complicated or competition type quilts.😊
When giving gift quilts, no matter how gorgeous, I make a point of stressing that I wish the Giftee to pls USE the Quilt, enjoy it & make it part of your life. I'm along time quilter, some of my work is stunning, but I ask people to please use the quilts I give them.
I actually became interested in quilting after binge watching MSQC some years ago. Jenny inspired me...with her easy to follow teaching style. I've invested in materials an machines. Now I am a confident quilter and accessories maker.
Visiting the store is on my bucket list.
That's awesome 👍🏻 it's such a lovely place for women or those that are interested in learning to sew! Not everyone has a grandmother to teach you how to sew! So this still makes it possible to learn!
It was on my list for a long time. By chance, we stayed in a hotel about 10 minutes away during a road trip and made a brief stop. When I finally made it there I was disappointed. It’s a cute store and I got one or two little souvenirs (same as you can buy on their website) but I was a little unhappy at the lack of precuts. There was next to nothing. I think with so many precut tutorials, I assumed there would be a lot. It’s mostly company swag and some fabric by the bolt. If you’re in the area, it’s a fun place to stop. For sure do it if you’re passing through. There’s a lot of other quilt shops around and little stores and restaurants to visit. But I was glad I hadn’t made a whole out-of-state trip for that purpose.

I thought would be like a destination where you can see people doing small demos, try out techniques and even live classes offered to locals. I have no other reason to visit that area if its not more than what you described. I'll continue to be inspired by the TH-cam VIDEOS...
I kept waiting for the why...seemed like an ad for the company. I have bought from the website and one of my disappointments, though I understand why is they don't carry their product lines very long. I looked for a certain line of fabrics about 6 months after I had purchased it and it was totally gone. But overall I would certainly buy from them again and again.
I am always browsing MSQC everyday. I had to stop buying as now I have so many quilts to make I do not know if I will be around that long to make them all. I have learned a lot from watching Jenny on her tutorials. She keeps the passion going. Love the site and the company
I literally learned to quilt by watching Jenny's videos. She gave me the knowledge and confidence to become an experienced quilter. Do I order from MSQC? Absolutely!! Just placed my most recent order today!
But all that aside, I most admire Jenny for living the American Dream, and in the process, she transformed her entire community by single handedly revitalizing the economy simply by following her dream and bringing others along for the ride. Nothing but respect!

Yeah, I’ve been watching her from when she started. I watched her everyday. I learned a lot. But, can any of you other quilters tell me why their fabric is getting so costly? Precuts have really gone up as well as yardage. I noticed today that several items on Daily Deal were marked down by 5 cents. Why bother? I got so mad at this situation, that I just yanked out my $400 order. I am so bummed out with them.

I love MSQC Though I had been sewing for over 40 years I had just started machine piecing when I discovered the website. The very first quilt I made was one of Jenny's patterns. The patterns are easy to follow and the video helps. I love the videos and she go me hooked on pre-cuts. I have now made 8 quilts using their patterns and techniques. And of course, many smaller projects from their patterns.
My grandmother would have loved MSQC. Me, not so much. I’m not crazy about bright primary colors, and my aim in quilting is the process, not so much the finishing. I like intricate blocks and civil war reproductions. But I am happy they have brought so many new people to quilting.
I am doing two quilts, BOM. They are beautiful and easy to put together. I am excited to get them finished for my daughters. I would love to visit the store. Maybe someday!

I love Jenny and MSQC. I was at a low point and watching Jenny helped get me through. Her family has had a lot to do with the success of the company. I actually made a pilgrimage to to mecca before covid and the website is awesome.
Of all the quilting videos I have watched, jenny is by far the easiest to follow. I am new to quilting, and have learned so much watching these VERY EAST to follow. My favorite is how to sew on binding at t he end of strip. I am excited to make more quilts in future.
I came back to quilting by watching Jenny make a Five and Dime quilt from Kansas Troubles. Not sure how old that video is but I have been a customer and a fan ever since.
I once purchased a ticket for one of Jenny’s appearances. I suddenly had to move across the country and could not use the ticket. I contacted the company and they returned every cent of the ticket purchase. How unusual is that! They are the best un the business and have super customer service representatives. A job well done every way you look at it.
I purchase from MSQC often. I started as a total beginner, I assisted my step-mother about 60 years ago, to quilt 1 quilt. Most of all I know has come from Jenny's tutorials. Her and her daughters are very good teachers. Of all the fabric and patterns I have bought from them I have not had any trouble with them. They are one of the best quilt shops that I know of.

I've bought a lot from MSQC over many years. Never had a problem with an item or shipping times. I watch the tutorials as soon as they come out. I love MSQC. Jenny is the best teacher out there and Natalie and Misty, who I also enjoy, are following right in her footsteps. Jake is fun too, but he isn't always on.

It’s been a blessing to many. Jenny taught me how to quit because she was so giving with her tutorials I didn’t even need to buy a pattern. But I love her so much I own every block magazine so far. My dream vacation would be to visit Missouri Star in person.

Jordan fabrics is one of my favorite sites! Things I like best are that they show projects made with the fabrics they are selling! I also love seeing the customer projects!! That helps me get a better picture of what I can do with my own projects.
Her shops (last time I was there was 13!) are so fun to explore. I live in Kansas City. Hamilton is just about 45 minutes away from my house. I go often. I have never had a bad time there. I get excited when ever I see the girls there.

I go every May 3 for the past 5 years! I didn’t know they were so close until then. I love it. My adult kids and husband love going with me. So much for them to see. Plus the men like the relax building with recliners. There is a grocery store they like to get snacks and drinks.

I have been to Missouri Star Quilt Co. It is an amazing place. Just about the whole town is made up of different stores that sell different types of materials. Also others sell different things. They have a man cave, with TV's snacks and very comfy chairs. The people who work there are top notch. Very happy, friendly, helpful. Just love this place. I have purchased many things there and it's top notch.
Wish I could go again but it is a long way from where I live.

I actually learned how to quilt by watching Jenny on TH-cam. Prior to watching Jenny I had never heard of making quilts. I blame Jenny for causing my home to resemble a fabric store. For all my projects, done and not done, it’s all due to MSQC. I love them.

I love MSQC i started quilting in 2008 and the first tutorials i saw of Jenny's were ones that i bought on a web page that does all types of tutorials. The information was so good that i went to the website and found the weekly tutorials. After they grew some and went to you tube to continue. I am still a registered account holder with MSQC. They make the whole process so enjoyable!!

As an adult I can pick and choose what I watch or learn. I don't need negative influences. I love to sew but quilting isn't the main item I make. I don't use MSQC just because it isn't important to me but there is nothing wrong with their videos or business model. Build people up, not tear them down.

Ever since I went to a quilting guild to learn how to quilt in 2012, I have bought all my quilting supplies from MSQC. Excellent service. I love Jenny's tutorials and have watched these every week since 2012.
