@@topsnowtravel I was in the blue jacket. We did a week there and then straight off to the three valleys and did another week there. Had a few white outs on the second week aswell.
That’s not too bad for what you’re getting 😊 Always best value to travel in January during low season (04 Jan - 08 Feb 2025). More available options, cheaper options and less crowded on slopes and restaurants 😁
@@louisedwards7042there are groups online where you can let people know you’re there solo & arrange to meet up with other. There are a couple of Facebook groups, for example. It’s a great resort.

You're absolutely right-Grenoble is a great option for travelers flying directly from the UK. It's wonderful to have these regional airports that provide such convenient access. Hello, if i am 26 year old looking to go for a ski trip with my friends, our budget is around 3.5kusd. Where do you recommend us to go? Ive been looking at at alpe d'huez, mayrhofen , les deux alps and cortina d'ampezzo. If you can choose one place even out of the options i just said, can you please help?

I do say if you listen in the video that I would classify these apartments as 4-star but let’s not push it with a non sense 2-star by “North American standards” 😂 Show me 1x 2-star from “North American standards” that looks as good? You have 107K + hotels in the US alone so I’m sure you will be able to provide one easily?
Well the standard is below par indeed but let’s not push it with the price of 6 star . Staying in Palace rated property will be triple the price of the week for this apartment just for 1 night 😂

I mentioned in the video that I felt Daria-I Nor leans more toward a 4-star experience rather than a 5-star, even though it does offer all the facilities expected of a 5-star property, such as a spa, gym, restaurant, and bar. While opinions can vary, I think calling it a 3-star might be a bit harsh. I find the Residence & Hotel Daria-I Nor pretty good value to be fair. Alpe d'Huez in general is actually quite cheap amongst the big ski resorts especially compared to the ones in Savoie & Haute Savoie

That’s why I would personally rate the apartment 4-star which I mentioned in the video as it is no where near 5-star but technically it is 😒

yeah ... in the season it's minimum 3,415 a week for the stay so on the pricy side... They do serve amazing food ;)

Daria-I Nor most definitely NOT worth 5 stars. Are with the 4 star rating. Heading to Alpe d’Huez in March 2025! Can’t wait for 2 weeks of good snow!
