Thank you for a very enlightning presentation on this high altitude ski resort⛷️. The place and slopes look great , and hopefully the french food in restaurants is worth the money spent and their gourmet reputation. 🥘🥗🍨
oh no really!! wow nothing like that when we visited! does make you think do resorts generally need to restrict lift pass sales? I guess they need so much revenue to keep the lifts turning...
I'm a more or less beginner skier, and for the 2026 season it's a toss up between this or La Plagne, never been to France, and can't read French, so I wouldn't know what to order in any restaurant. Plus the fact I'd be going on my own via Crystal Ski.
@@Puzzoozoo IMO la Plagne isn't as pretty. AD is more postcard like. And as a beginner I think sightly Warmer is good so AD might have the edge this time 🎿
@patmagroin9950 tough to say what you are used to. I didn't find it as expensive as some resorts, but typically the Italian resorts would likely save a few pence 👌🏻please be sure to subscribe it really helps us 👊🏻

Great review , cheers
Great video place looks amazing but electric cars don't get me started - really enjoyed the tour
I was there last Friday. The amount of skiers there was unreal ! By 11:00 all the runs had turned into massive mogul fields😢😢

@@Inthesnowmag Been the same for 20 years. No big deal - just learn to charge on all mountain skis and carve the bumps. CHARGE !

I absolutely love Alpe D’Huez. It’s so well laid out and is a wonderful ski resort. I particularly liked the scary chairlift 😮🎿

Much nicer places like Saalbach.
how affordable is it, for someone not from the region?
