Nice video, good feature walk through and helpful pro/con discussion. One feature I would have liked to see is the bills management tools/dashboard. Leaving Mint and one thing I'm looking for is a clear overview of upcoming payments due.
You're right - I didn't focus much on that. They do have options for recurring bills: here's an article on how to manage them: help.simplifimoney.com/en/articles/3625912-managing-recurring-transactions
I just started using it. I moved over from Mint. It basically does the same think Mint did with a few more features. Great review. I look forward to seeing all the things this app can do for me.
Hi, I found your Video very informative. I have a quick question: Does this program allow you to split receipts? For instance, if I purchase food and electronics at Walmart, will I be able to categorize the transactions separately? Thanks.
Great video! Does Simplifi allow you to add notes to transactions like Mint did? I just switched from Mint to Credit Karma and I'm absolutely hating it. Seems like they would have offered to switch people to Simplifi since it looks much more like Mint than Credit Karma.
Ug - I'm not a fan of Credit Karma. Intuit owns Credit Karma, so I'm guessing that's why they sent people there, but I agree Simplifi seems a lot more like mint. You can add notes in Simplifi. If you click on a transaction you can add notes or you can create custom tags and tag transactions.
Wow this video was super helpful, thank you! I’ve been using the app for a month and really loving it, but my only con was not being able to personalize the categories. I had no idea you can customize in settings!
Can you spit categories? Like if I go to Walmart and buy groceries, household items, can automotive all in one trip and receipt? Or do I have to make them all separate purchases?
I only use Quicken to keep track of my checking balance and bills I've paid thru my online Banking Bill Pay. However Online banking bill pay does not cover all transactions. For example, paper check writing, credit card payments, auto-withdrawals registered to pay utilities, etc. Also, Quicken is just desktop. I'd like to be able to enter bills and track balances with my iPhone. Would simplifi work for me?
I asked a question but I do not see a reply or answer. Only a like. Can I enter bills and schedule when they are to be paid and also enter deposits and check them off when I paid them through my online bill pay? Also, keep a running balance of my checking account.
I saw your comment and thought I responded. But I must not have hit the enter button. Sorry. As for your question... You can manually enter bills in simplifi or you can add your bills using Bill Connect. It lets you connect to your bills so that they are displayed in the app. You would still pay them on your own, not through simplifi, but you can see them before they are due. Or, you could set up the bill as a recurring transaction. It won't show you the balance, but will give you a remindert o pay the bill. I hope that answers your questions.

How is Quicken Simplify with multiple pay checks? I have two jobs plus rental income. EveryDollar has trouble with this. Part of my last two pay checks goes towards expenses in the following month. How does Quicken handle this?
I think the easiest way to handle this is to change the date of your paychecks so that it counts for the following month. Ie, if you get paid April 28 I would change the date to May 1 to go towards May...if that makes sense. It should work just fine with multiple paychecks. Although I've never had an issue with that in EveryDollar.

Thanks for sharing. I love hearing people's personal opinions.
Great video, I use both Quicken Classic and Simplifi greatest financial tools out there. Quicken Classic tracks Credit score.
Thanks for sharing your personal experience!!

Yes. You can split it into multiple transactions.

I’m so glad. I feel like that is a feature that should be obvious, but it is not!
I’m glad you’re liking it!

I should also mention the Quicken I use on my Mac is expired. :) It's basically a tracking too for me to keep up with my finances.

Thanks sounds like what I've been lookin for.
I hope you like it!
Thanks for the video. Did anyone else notice sound issues with this video? Something seems off. Almost like it's compressed or something.
I hope the video was helpful. I've been experimenting with different microphones in my office trying to get better audio.
