I love that this is not only always with the notebook but that it has a basically invisible profile - those clips are just so huge! Thanks for sharing.
Apple Pig has invented something similar a few years back. Your’s is much thinner & less intrusive! I love the TN community bc of innovation like this & DIY. Anyone w/ simple tools, a problem, & imagination can propel this space into the future! Fabulous job!!😻🤗✨
This is the best tip I have tried in years. I have been using a Travelers Notebook for years and this one of the only things that bugs me. This tip is a game changer thank you so much.
I love the trick, but I just cannot, for the life of me, understand why would someone go that extra EXTRA mile instead of getting inserts that actually lay flat. This is not me mocking -- a genuine question.
😊 grammarly: • lie means to be in or put yourself in a horizontal resting position • lay means to put someone or something else in a horizontal resting position
Easy childhood way to remember: Now I lay me (myself, my body, maybe my notebook, down to sleep). Or, I lie down to sleep. My reply was not meant to be rude. I do feel that correct usage of lay/lie, I/me, he/him, she/her, they/them (and others) is important, so that flow of a message is not interrupted by mental corrections. The End.
@@nance.plants It's an easy one to make. See my reply with the childhood bedtime prayer and visualize it. Just keep it in mind if any doubt. P.S. great show and tell - I pulled out my unused travel notebooks to make them more likely be used🤗

So true! I usually just close my journal without untucking the pages and it doubles as a bookmark!

@@nance.plantsthank you!
Where did you get the leather insert (showing at 0:46 in the video) that you punched the holes in? I do not see it on the Travelers website
It's washable paper and not leather! Check out this segment in this video: th-cam.com/video/-_6n8h5bA_8/w-d-xo.html

If you have a favorite passport sized insert that lays flat, please share! Would love to try
@@nance.plants passport is the only size i never had, so not much of expertise here. have you tried MD Paper or Sterling ink?

in first sentence...lying flat, not laying flat.
