This video was so peaceful! I use my Traveller's Notebook for a mixture of poetry/journaling and collaging. It's a nice size to carry around when I want to sit in a local coffee shop and do that there as well! Excited for your TN journey. 🥰
I love that! It's been a few years that I keep trying to get into consistent collaging/journaling but I'm such a picky and slow person that it takes me forever to decide on and/or finish a page. It's certainly something my "dream self" would do... my real self still needs plenty of practice.
Hey 🐻 I've been using TN since around 2011 when I got my first Midori branded brown one. I went 'quiet' for a while and since that I've gone mad. I have a stationery addiction just so I can write with my fountain pens. I had not reason other than that to start what I enjoy now. So many TN's in my collection along with Plotter, William Hannah, Paper Republic, to name a few. 😄👍🏻 Enjoy the journey along the TN path...
Haha don't we all try to find "uses" for our fountain pens? I don't have a reason to write extensively day to day but I do enjoy my little pen collection.
🐻 I’ve used a standard camel TN the most in my entire lineup for the past two years. although I size hop, I always come back to it. In my TN I have: -plastic zip -Insert one-monthly undated -Kraft folder -insert two- lightweight paper insert
The kraft folders always intrigue me but I'm never quite sure what I would put in it. I find the standard probably too large for most of my purses as a daily carry so I might give the passport a try!
🐻! I have both a passport size TN (in limited edition navy blue leather! 😍) and a regular size one in camel. Honestly I haven't figured out the best way to utilize them yet because I'm not a journaler nor keep a physical calendar/planner, but I just love special and charming stationery goods, plus I had a friend buy them for me in store in Tokyo, so I treasure them very much. 😊 I think I may just put random stuff in them (a sketch here, a haiku there) when inspiration strikes, rather than designate them for any particular use or purpose. Hope you enjoy your TN journey! 😊
Yay! I'm still trying to figure out the right size for me. I like the space of this standard length but find it a little cumbersome to carry in my purse.
Great video. I am pretty new to TN’s. I have the passport version and have ordered a limited edition regular in the new Tokyo edition which I pre ordered and I hope will shortly be despatched. I am in the UK so there are hardly any retailers who stock TN’s and inserts.
Do you like the passport size and what purpose does it serve for you? I'm looking at a smaller version as a daily purse carry. I'm currently using a DIY "passport-ish" size just to try it out before I put money on the TN!
Did you pick up the full size or the passport? I know some people love TNs so much that they have a whole collection... haha I am not there yet though.
I personally find it hit/miss depending on your specific preferences for inks. I notice shadowing on the backpages but not necessarily bleed so it comes down to what your expectations are. However, the general consensus from the TN community is that they love it for fountain pens.
I enjoyed the unboxing 🐻 I don’t have TN. I’m currently using Muji A5 notebook as my diary. Love decorating it with stickers and ephemera. Will subscribe to your channel ♥️
HI do you live in Vancouver Canada? I also live in Vancouver, well to be exact in Surrey. I will subscribe to your channel, because youre videos are great.
I myself just started using a TN and I love it! I wished I had known about these years ago.
That's awesome! Out of curiosity, how do you usually use it?

I learned from 🐻 Lovely unboxing!! I love the Midori Traveler’s Notebook system!

How your tokyo? Im contemplating on getting one but i already havethe black. But i truly like the holographic design but should i really need 2?
🐻 I have never used one of these before. It definitely seems pretty interesting and makes it easy to keep multiple interests in one notebook.
🐻 I'm trying out the TN system for the first time myself. Looking forward to seeing how it works for me.

I also don't like the sharp corners on the inserts so I rounded them too - much better.
We are the RCC - "Rounded Corners Club"!
Are travelers journal fountain pen friendly ?
Yes, if you buy the original inserts!
I personally find it hit/miss depending on your specific preferences for inks. I notice shadowing on the backpages but not necessarily bleed so it comes down to what your expectations are. However, the general consensus from the TN community is that they love it for fountain pens.
Can that corner cutter be used for leather ?
No, I don't think it would be strong enough. You'd need something more proper for leather.

I love stickers! I'm not so good with ephemera but love watching other people do it...maybe one day.
@@WeekendsWithGmaybe one day you’ll try some ephemera. Stickers are a lot of fun to use. Have a lovely day 💖
