Keep in mind we have 3 batches of leaked cards we havent gotten yet... First was vendread, evolsaur/lite and dino Then sky striker Then volcanics and dinos (had the ancient warrior cards we got in the box too) only thing I feel is soft confirmed is dragonmaids because skill leaks have been pretty accurate so far
All this did was give me Hieratic Sky Dragon monster for my Tachyon deck to protect every card I have from targetting effects wich combos alongside Dingirsu.
I'm immediately assuming Hieratic Seal will be in a UR Selection Box or a limit 1 cash shop bundle and Remus will be a main box UR or also in a selection box, because komoney needs more money. I also like that they threw in REDMD to "push" the Hieratic/Dragunity deck building box because they know players who play other dragon decks that are not interested in Hieratic/Dragunity are going to go into this box exclusively for REDMD.
It was honestly pretty obvious that we werent getting heavenly spheres. Deck build boxes allways only add two new cards to an archetype and we knew the spell was coming which very obviously hinted towards the missing xyz monster coming. Same thing for Remus. Also for Hieratic, why should you use the countertrap on book of eclipse? Eclipse does basically nothing against the deck except turning of your xyz monster, which you only summon to protect you backrow anyways.
I'm sorry but I have to invest in it, this month is nothing but Arc V so I need SOMETHING to keep me entertained on duel links this month since they're giving us no content at all

after this Dragunity, i only have 2 decks left in my wishlist to be complete in DL. the one was terrible deck, it's Megalith. the second was like my copium, coz almost impossible to release in DL, Drytron.

The simple answer is Konami is clearly ignorant to how much power creep they have in the game rn. These decks would have been great in a far more balanced meta, but in the current meta where we practically open Master Duel levels of disruption with less hand traps and skills that allow for greater consistency? This shit is hard obsolete.
Ngl the new xyx hieratic monster is better being play in the tachyon as it counts as an extra interaction as nebula dragon locks you into only special summoning dragon monsters
More decks need a time thief skill. The skill is decent going 1st but going second you plus and adds your important boss monster. Prank kids can use something like that
I'm glad we didn't get Spheres because in DL with skills it's much more powerful. For example do you want Battle Chronical to have essentially 3 more points of interruption for free? They could make Spheres with Alternative + any normal summon and get the search from the skill, bounce anything with Spheres tributing itself, Spheres floats into Spirit for a banish which can then be used for Successor. If they were going to add Spheres I'd much rather it was locked behind their skill but the fact they didn't even do that plus limiting their counter trap is bs.
For any hardcore dragon link players it *might* be worth getting 1 REDMD because it’s searchable off of the free to-obtain staple Black Metal Dragon, but that’s more of a long-term investment since TCG-powered dragon link is a long ways away at at the point we get their big staples like Romulus, Spheres, Striker Dragon, etc, I’m sure REDMD will be in the dream ticket pool lol
In the tcg hieratics where a blind second otk deck if I’m not mistaken, cause they have options to go into say a Gia charger off a spent atum idk if it’s in duel links but could be how the deck could function
That play exists and has existed for years, the fact is you need more, you needed a good link to summon of your redmd, you go atum into redmd, revive something, and now what? You need something to extend and go further beyond, tbh what you ended up needing were the bystials which would give you more lv6 dragons, and that+seals would give you a search for a dragon on your opponents turn
@ seals doesn’t search, if you tribute it for the bounce it then like the other hieratics specials a dragon from deck but makes their atk and def 0/0, but I get what you mean I haven’t played duel links in years so idk what he meta is but it might be a good idea with a hieratic deck to blind second otk
I had 29 pages of gems so I decided to buy the whole box 3 times. It's likely the hieratic link and dragunity might come to a main box similar to evil eye in the builder box which the link 2 was in the main boxes while the link 3 was Given for free. So you'll have to wait and see.
Was like 2 packs from effect veiler. Never putting gems into the deck building boxes ever again. Put thousands of gems in and then they swap the box. Never using the limited boxes EVER again
Deck builds are permanent, you were pulling on the Anniversary Box. Also just for the future, you can check the expiration dates on limited boxes so that you can make sure you have all you want before they're gone Edit: could've also been a selection box idk, but same thing applies
I'm Dragunity player since 2019. When I see this deck without Remus or Seal, and a weak and lock skill (can't make Crystal Wing), I already know that is garbage
REDMD is definetly a good card, but not viable at the moment. Red Eyes is Red Eyes…so you don‘t have to estimate anything good from that deck and Dragon Link still misses too many combo pieces to work properly.
Dragunity is my favorite archtype to play. I was tearing up seeing new dragunity cards in the game. I am sad to see dragunity oubliette isn't just a regular card I can put in my deck. That card would complete my deck.
i think it's probably going to be worth going in for at least once to get ravine but they should've had the dragunity link 2 that searches it but it's really weird that wasn't in the box anyway, dragon link is kinda shitty rn and giving them that would have been something at least

I just want them to release RUM - Astral Force so that I can rank up Atum into Thunder End Dragon. Not because it’s good, just because I like that card and think it would be funny to get the dark hole effect that way
Damn, I watched this a day late. I grinded for the whole box and its just a miracle to get a win in pvp. Hieratics easily dies when I dont have enough seals to tribute and activate the trap cards.
Yeah duel links is dead I think, the Pandora's box of the skillz getting overpowered is now people expect the newer skills to be more broken or the newer skills with newer cards to be able to power creep the older ones but in turn when the new skills/cards aren't able to compete with the previously released ones it makes investing in the deck a complete waste. They can't exactly go back and bomb older skills cause then the players whos skills play the game for them won't have a deck to play either or will feel cheated out of their gems for relying on a skill to much to play the game. I with Konami would just add a ranked mode with no skills allowed instead of stupid rush duel.

REDM is not good for Red Eyes!! It doesn't synergize with the rest of the deck at all, specially in DL where the deck focuses on the fusions, so don't worry you don't need it

Darkness Metal isn't good for the pure fusion variant but I play a bunch of links and XyZ in a few of my red eyes decks. It'll go great in my Red-Eyes decks that focus a bit more on Link/Xyz summoning. Fusion is nice but I've always hated the Red-Eyes fusion restrictions. I still pray that Konami gives Red-Eyes another fusion monster and maybe a fusion trap similar to necro fusion or soul Fusion except without the banishing effect lol.
We have like 7+ playable dragon decks in this game dude. I would love 1 new insect, sea serpent, aqua, rock, or dino archetype some time this century.
