i used to work there, a lot of them do. BUT a lot of them have been kicked out and banned for drugs, violence, and worse. There's a story behind each person, some i feel bad for, some I do not because they chose the path they are on.
It starts with treating the drug addiction. Very few people out there are homeless because they can’t get housing. I was homeless in Arlington. In 1997. I worked the system . They are out there for drugs.
Let me clarify a lot in this video. I used to work right down the street at the night shelter there, I've walked that street 1,000+ times going too and from my office. I worked as an operations manager for the work force side of the night shelter. ANY of these people could have a job is they so choose so, and I would have been one of their managers depending on the work they applied for. The shelter assists with getting documentation for birth certificates and ID's, helps with getting them into drug rehab if they're addicted to drugs. On top of it all, we hired JST ABOUT ANYONE as ling as they can pass a drug test. Have a dozen felonies? you can get hired. As long as you don't have the following charges on your record you could get a job: Rape Murder Kid napping animal abuse child abuse Those are the only charges we would NOT accept. I worked there for 3 year and saw people turn their life around, or go right back to what got them in trouble to begin with, it's completely up to the person if they want help or not. Id say a majority of these people fall into 1 or 4 catagories Drug addicts Really bad mental health issues laziness and wanting no responsibility people who want to change their life around I think there is a lot that can be done to help these people financially WHEN they have a job, but most of these people have to want it for themselves, I cant force anyone to get a job and show up to work on time and do the job correctly, I can only give them an opportunity.
He's taking his time, energy, and risking his life to go out and bring awareness to the american people in DFW... I help homeless people all the time and never knew it was this damn bad here

Yeah I use to live down that way in a tent that's over there by the Sprint building 😮
U all have to get off the drugs nobody deserves to live on the streets especially the kids and old people!
😢
People just need to get in a shelter for assistance & safety 😢
Tell the government to provide more shelters.

I sure hope u gave them something before leaving… It doesnt take much to buy a burger or sandwich… The help u speak of exists in u not youtube
WE ARE ALL AWARE of this crisis..you could be feeding them instead of filming them ...they taking care of the illegal immigrants right now
We give billions to foreign countries, but don't help our people! Charity starts at home, first!
Thank you so much
