Best DIY project I have seen. Wow, what a multi purpose table. AWESOME!
Thank you very much! It has been a game changer for us! It’s so versatile, we love it! Glad you found the information helpful! - Mike and Shelley
Ok figured it out I’m a 67 yr old woman and did this modification by my self Thank You your Video was on the money I’m so happy to be ab”e to move my table now
So glad it worked for you!
Omgoodness, I can't wait to do this to my U-shaped dinette table! Love the idea of being able to move the table with ease to sit at the back of the U-shaped instead of practically climbing over the seat. Not to mention using as a coffee table and lay down on the back bench yo watch TV. Thank you for this video! Truly helpful for everyone!
You are so welcome! So glad you’ve found it helpful. We have been so happy with this modification and are happy to share with others. We have done some other mods you may be interested in as well. th-cam.com/video/aOvWlfbn6mM/w-d-xo.htmlsi=zDjBWcW9TRdmmC7Y We appreciate you leaving us a comment! Safe travels. Mike and Shelley.
Thank you for this demonstration! I just discovered this type of stand for RV tables. Our smaller camper had a Lagun table mount which we installed but now we have a U-shaped dinette, and although I love it, I hate the traditional way of mounting RV tables on posts. We just bought the new trailer and the posts are already unsteady, every time my husband sits down, he shakes the table when he touches it. I am ordering this today!
Today is May 31 and I received the platform and installed it myself. It was a little tight at first, but swung up into position beautifully. I watched your video again and it helped tremendously. Thanks again!
So glad this helped you! It has made a HUGE difference for me! Thanks for taking the time to let us know, we really appreciate the comments!
That is pretty awesome. We may need to do this mod. It’s such a pain to access storage on the 260RD. Thanks for sharing.
No problem 👍
Wish I would’ve seen this before I did mine. I took my table out and and am using a dropleaf table I bought from amazon.
Oh dang that’s too bad. We really love the versatility of this mod. Can you return the Amazon table?
Buying a 2022 28BH on Thursday and will definitely be doing this mod! Nice work guys!
Thanks! We have done several little mods and upgrades on ours in the last three years. Stay tuned for more updates.
Brilliant! Thanks for sharing this.
Glad you found it helpful. We are still in awe in how this changed things for us!
I love the video and your modification.
So much that I just ordered the part.
I'm short too, and it's really hard to reach the upper cabinets. I really like how you demonstrate the many uses with the new legs.
So glad you enjoyed it! I (Shelley) am still so excited about. People don’t understand short girl problems. Lol! Glad this helped you out. Good luck with the mod and let us know if you have any questions!
Where can I get the table mod parts from. Best RV modification I've seen in a long time.
Thank you! We love it! Here is the link. Let us know if you have any questions. amzn.to/3RnZEnB
Bravo great job 🙌🏽 I have a telescopic pedestal which swivels and give me a second seating option , however I like your option I love the versatility ie the island coffee table work station, I wish I paid better attention in woodworking class because I would definitely do that however I don’t have any issues accessing storage and I’m solo so my setup works good for me but absolutely brilliant modification
Thanks for the feedback, we really appreciate it. This has been our favorite mod by far! They should start making it standard! lol. Your option sounds really nice too so they are making improvement! Safe travels to you! - Mike and Shelley
The Folding Table Leg/Bed Base was a good find. Thanks for sharing.
Thanks! It’s been so helpful for us! Hope others can find it useful too!

Cool idea. Might do this myself, never cared much for how the tables are mounted & often in the way. Thanks.
Thanks for watching. It’s a great easy mod!
Smart! Great job 👏
It’s made a huge difference in the use our table and layout of our camper! Thanks for watching!
Like the mod. Really enjoyed the ending
Thanks Mike. Glad you liked it!
Very good table like the idea
It worked out really well. I would defiantly recommend if you are looking for some diversity with your table.
Do you know where/how I can buy this dinette? We have the super long couch and and I miss having a table
Unfortunately I do not. You might want to check RecPro or Grand Design. Here is the link to the table legs if you need to change those out amzn.to/3xx6zDG
So helpful! Thanks
Glad it was helpful! Thanks for watching!
I like this idea! One question though. When you moved the table in front of the couch to use as a coffee table/desk, it looked like the legs were in between the full-up and full-down positions. Can the table be locked at those heights?
No, it doesn't have a lock but I'm working on a solution to that. I'm thinking it will be as simple as a well placed "C" clamp and it could be secured at any height.
Thanks, did you figure out how to make it an adjustable height? Im only 5'2' and either my cushions are too low or the table is too high. Thoughts? Thanks so much
Great question. I haven’t thought about a way to lower it. Shelley is also height deficient but she doesn’t have an issue. I’ll look at it and see if I can come up with an idea for you.
I don’t see a way to lower it besides the inch or so that the feet screw in or out.
It does set about 1 1/2 inches lower than the original table. Shelley did notice a big difference with it.
Great idea however I couldn't find legs on Amazon. Can you point me to ? Thanks Tom

What did you do about the screw holes in the floor?
We took a hammer and gently flattened out the jumps from the screws and filled the holes with tan silicone caulking.
Do you have the link for the base you used from amazon
Thanks for watching. Hope this helps. We are so happy with the mod! amzn.to/3OCjE4T
My 260RD has the single pole in the middle and it is horrible. How is the stability of the table? Reason I ask is the wife sews a lot and I was wondering about table stability from weight and machine movement/vibrations. Thanks
It’s very stable! This is by far the best mod we have done on our rig and the most feedback we’ve gotten from other doing it and being happy with it as well.
Thanks for the information. Purchased the stand. This is a great mod. What a game changer and yes, very stable.@@campinwiththeconfers
@@fugops so glad you like it! Makes all the difference! We are happy to share the things we learn along the way!
How did you find this on Amazon
Here is the link. It has worked great for us and I know many others have used it too! amzn.to/4g6dq91
I know you ordered this on Amazon … what is it called??
Hi Linda, Here is the link to the table legs. amzn.to/3IoCc5x You're gonna love this mod!
Ok I just ;stalled the widget how do you raise the table
Put you foot on one of the legs to hold it still. Grab the tabletop and kind of rock it to one side or the other and it will pivot on the hinge and come up. To lower, hit the little release and do the opposite motion. It doesn't go straight up and down it kinda goes to the side then up.
Can you tell me the name of the widget so I can look for it on Amazon? Love this!!!!

Do you have a link for the legs

Always finding something new to tinker with huh?
This truly is the best mod we have ever done! But yes, always working on something!
I HATE dinettes this was a good mod
It’s much better. We can actually use the seating space now.
