The harvesting as actually more upsetting for me in bioshock 2 than original bioshock, IT'S YOUR JOB TO PROTECT the little sisters (as a Big Daddy), and then you murder them.
Plus in the origional they looked TERRIFYING both as little sisters and regular girls, They really did a great job redesigning them, and making them look cuter in Bioshock 2 and I hate that they decided to reuse the older model for Infinite(Burial at Sea)
@andrea ravasi How are they hateful- The job of the Little Sisters is to go around Rapture gathering ADAM from Angels, aka corpses. And the Big Daddy’s job is to protect them from the drug addict Splicers. Even though they have that slug inside them, their still normal little girls who were kidnapped from the surface. They never asked to be turned this way, all they want is to be rescued and returned to their families. How would you feel if you were kidnapped from your home, turned into an ADAM addicted, gatherer with Splicers always attacking you, then your only protector turning out cold-hearted and murdering you instead of doing what he was designed to do? That’s just sad...
I hate it when they scream at you "daddy, stop!" when you harvest them. It's kinda sad, and the game treats this as the best option (because Sinclair is happy with you.)
Actually Sinclair's much better when compared to Atlas, who fucking tells you to do it because 'that thing's just a monster'. (I'll admit tho, the little sisters in bioshock 1 were Ugly)
Atlas straight up betrayed Jack, and that made me fucking hate him. he was cool, and his accent was badass, but imo Sinclair’s definitely better, and although his intentions weren’t the best in the beginning, he never once tried betraying Delta during gameplay, and seemingly didn’t really have a problem with whatever choices the player chose.
P The harvesting. I'd feel like an absolutely horrible person having done that. I know it's just a game and all that, but still. As I understand it, if you do this enough, the little sisters begin to show all the classic symptoms of abuse victims when you approach them. Haven't tried it, but if that's what happens, I wouldn't want to.

I honestly expected Sinclair to have different personalities towards the end depending on if you saved or killed little sisters. I thought if you went full evil he would willingly stand against you as an Alpha instead of trying to help you.

I can't harvest the little sisters in either game. Mainly because they would've had no way to prevent becoming Little Sister's in the first place. And in this game, playing as a Big Daddy, you're basically betraying their trust in you.
harvesting little sisters on this game seems a lot more cruel (if they were actually real, that is). because on the first game, you're an enemy, and that's all, some sick wierdo who comes up, kills her father, then pulls a slug from her stomach lining. but on the second game, you do kill her father, but you also adopt her and protect her, and she even starts talking about how much she loves her new daddy... that is before you tear into her anatomy of course. but it's just a game, phew.
