I bought the same smoked headlights 3 months ago for my dark blue 986 and they look great.. I could sell my old headlights but I think I will keep them..
Thanks for viewing, keep the old one. I kept mine. The 986 was declared a classic 2 years ago. There is no way but up for these cars. Slowly appreciating in the market. Having the original parts is an insurance. Drive safe with that smiles per miles !
I really like the upgraded headlights, would look even better with LED headlight bulbs. Those turn signals look great. It's funny that the prices for these is still under $900 just like they were 15 years ago which makes them a lot cheaper now since everyone is making a lot more money than they were 15 years ago
Hi I recently got these but there seems to be an issue with the high beams projecting extremely low . I tried to adjust them with no luck so far . anyone had similar issues ?
If only the bulb and leds used there were a proper quality.. The price of original lamps went to the roof when everyone realised them aftermarket ones hardly give any visibility at night.. Plus the 4 leds in each lamp tents to burn out after few months.. That's why I paid 800$ for original ones rather than 400$ for these.. There are beautiful and 986 looks great, but once you turn them on at night.. It shows the fakness, it's shows their "I want to be new boxster but everyone knows I bought them pradas on Turkish bazar."
I feel you man, i changed the bulb to Led and not worried about the 4 leads to be busted. If it does, easy fix to replace them. I can easily put back the oem headlight back while im on it. Thanks for your comment!

Thinking of wrapping the hood as well with black, if it is damaged, why not? Just remove it if it does not look good.

I had the same problem at first, it needs more turn to level it compared to oem. I was able to level it properly.
How well do they light up the road? Is the beam evenly spread or spotty?
Brighter than the stock HL (replaced the high beam with white LED and low still stock halogen). The beam is not that evenly but not spotty.

Well, they look OK unlit; lit not so much.
