You create great content and your trail assessments are helpful and informative. From Maine and rode that trail in 2022 as part of a great loop ride in the area . Thanks for sharing the video and refreshing a memory of a great ride on a faboulous trail.
Thanks for the compliment! And it’s easy to create a great video when the trail is so fabulous! Wow…Maine…that’s a long road trip! Thanks for watching!
Yes, I agree! But there are so many great, well designed trails in the region! There are still a few trails I have yet to ride and am hoping to return there again very soon to complete my list. Thanks for watching!
Yes, it's a very sweet trail. And there are more excellent trails in this same region, more new videos that I will be releasing soon! Thanks for watching!
Splendid Ron. Another great vid I will ride. So tell me, you started at the bottom of Hawkeye and rode up it correct? Thinking you must have parked initially east of where you ended up I'm guessing. Did you ride over to the bottom of Hawkeye via the Mack Ridge (black diamond ride) to get to bottom of Hawkeye and then finally end up on Hawkeye rode? Hope this makes sense. -- You handle those up and over boulder jumps with ease! I bet this vid was taken months ago.
There is a parking lot right at the bottom of Hawkeye and it is also right off of Highway 70 at the exit at the little town of Mack. I did an up and back on Hawkeye. But it is a very popular trail with lots of descending riders if you were to do it in the middle of the day. As an alternative there is a gravel road a little to the north of the trail called Mack Ridge Connector that would also get you to the top of Hawkeye. If you have the Trailforks app, this would be clear. It’s an awesome ride! And yes, I rode it in late October.
@@ronsanderson99 Thanks Ron. So I like the down and back up plan. That makes perfect sense then. Will be awhile I think. We just got about 3-4 ft of snow here this last week. Mega!
I can’t remember the day but I think it was an early morning on the weekend. Pretty much all the trails in the Kokopelli region are worth riding! Thanks for watching!

Thanks for the compliment! Yes, it’s a pretty great trail, and great for nearly everyone! Thanks for watching!
I miss the time I got to ride out there. Great video and descriptions of the trail 💪🏼
Thanks! I’m thinking that’s one of the best trails in Fruita, but I am returning soon for some more! Thanks for watching!
Hey Ron,
Nice review of one of the best trails in the area.

Great video! Planning on going out there again in the spring this year. What day of the week did you ride this?

Pro4 hubs?
Not sure what hubs I’ve got…I ride a stock 2021 Giant Reign Advanced that has the TR-1 wheel system.
