That is a great idea!! I figured they would also cover the Pokémon civil war with lucario and all that. This series has so much potential it’s not even funny

Ever since it was revealed, it’s Pokédex entry on the isle of armor website really stuck out to me: “It dwells in distant mountains Wild Kubfu live in mountainous areas far away from the Galar region today, but it was once a species that called Galar its home. It’s noted in historical texts that this species used to head to uncharted lands with people as they set out to trade or explore. Records suggest that the Kubfu living in faraway mountains today may have descended from Kubfu that became naturalized to the distant lands they visited in their journeys.” I have a feeling Kubfu were located originally in the mountains of Sinnoh’s past. Maybe once snow covered the majority of the region, it looked for a place with a warmer environment much like the isle of armor. Also Mustard has interesting dialogue at the end of his battle that makes it sound like it’s foreshadowing something... kinda like Sabrina the gym leader. notice how the Pokédex entry says “ historical texts” too meaning from the past time, and setting out to uncharted lands for exploration is exactly what we’re doing in the legends game.
easier way to see it... after Cyrus enters the distortion world he comes out in the past and decides to "continue" the investigation notes that he found in the DP games... so the professor in this game is Old Cyrus from the future
Regarding not having a PC: what if instead there was a farm like area in the village where we store our caught Pokémon and allow them to roam free? Similar to Ash’s Pokémon all living out at Professor Oak’s ranch. Whenever we want to swap out members of our team, we go to this area and simply walk up to which Pokémon we’d like to take while leaving another. It’d a cool use of the over-world Pokémon concept to literally just see every one we’ve caught in one big area, just free roaming within this space we have for them.
I’m so excited for the potential of building up a rich lore for the Pokémon Universe and have the games begin to incorporate more detailed information.
A bit unrelated to this video but speaking in general, what I really am excited by is the actual ability to cross (certain) terrain yourself now. No need for Rock Climb or whatnot until then maybe you do come across more challenging terrain whereas then you will need to catch that Pokémon who can help you traverse it. Now we actually can go hitchhiking rather than being fed only fancy artwork with splashes of nostalgia. This is for real!
Don’t get me wrong aDrive; I love your content. As soon as I see a new upload I can’t click fast enough. But wow you are realllly squeezing as much as you can out of these trailers 😂 just when I think you’ve discussed everything, here you are again. Keep up the great work
In Platinum, Cyrus stays in the Distortion World...what if he was able to travel through time into the past, created that symbol based on Team Galactic, and then went back in time and his "Future Self" created team Galactic based on this "ancient symbol".
I know this is a tad overboard at least from what we usually expect from a Pokémon story but this is my theory. The main characters in this game (or at least one of them) is going to be made canon as a late relative of either Ethan/Lyra and will kickstart or at least be a big part of team galactic, of course to avoid having the main characters of a Pokémon game be "bad guys" team galactic will start off as a small group with noble intentions and eventually morph into the more sinister version we see in the original games at a later point in time, this would be due to their moral boundaries being lost in translation which is to be expected after so many people taking up the mantle as leader and such a large time span. On the other hand, team galactic could possibly remain evil in the new game and just put on a sort of charade so Ethan/Lyra won't realize their true intentions until it's too late. Then again this is kind of ludicrous and I'm most likely wrong but I would love it if I were right, it would not only make for a better story in general but it would also add that bit of mature and meaningful story telling that the latest games have been lacking.
@@markkisinski110 well what if there are multiple realities and this is the reality that Cyrus didn’t die and this is Cyrus world or the Pokemon universe is in an infinite loop
@@zainabkuyateh6048 ok Marvel calm down lol I think we're thinking WAY too hard and too much about a game thats still being developed and was only revealed a week ago. Ive realized from this fandom that everyone makes these crazy theories and then get extremely disappointed when everything they speculated doesn't happen. Let's get some actual information about it first and then we can speculate
I like this theory my only issue with the break down is the 6 pokemon being all you get as this game has more focus on completing the pokedex which would mean you would never be allowed to have a full party if you wanted to progress and I can't see them doing that if what is being said is true I think its more likely that the professor in town will act as the box having you essentially collect a small army for the villain as well if he truly is evil being a nice twist my guess is the bird he has probably comes to collect spare pokemon when you already have 6 in your party and can go to him to swap but after you finish collecting all the pokemon an event from him may shut down access from those pokemon until post game as a final stretch as the professor plays out his plan.
Hey aDrive, do you ever clean the dust buildup from your Switch? The vents on top make it pretty easy for dust to build up. Just use some keyboard duster and it should start working much better. Might also do that outside cause it'll blow dust everywhere.
Maybe Pokemon Legends is Cyrus' world. This game has a chance to fill in the lore gaps we currently have, I hope they are able to deliver on that. I think they symbol marks the player out as a research field aid. However it's quite close to the Galactic symbol.
Every time you catch a pokemon after your first six, you must let go one pokemon and replace it with your most recent catch. Similar to what they did in Pokemon Ranger Shadows of Almia.
I think you may be the creator of the azure flute, the plates, and the red chain. Along with the Professor who had come up with the concepts but thought it would be too dangerous for them to handle themselves.
If this potential plot is true, imagine this: Who apparently will provide you pokeballs for your journey? The professor. Who would then obviously have pokeballs? The professor. If evil/corrupt, who would you have to engage in potentiall the first pokemon trainer battle at the climatic moment of the game and will likely have a team comprised of some of the most powerful pokemon Johto, Unova, Alolah, and potentially Sinnoh have to offer? The professor!
I like this theory but still feel there has to be some sort of meaning behind Dawn and Lucas being in the past. What if BDSP sets up a timeline where Cyrus goes back in time somehow? I cant get over the idea that Cyrus is somehow sent back and now becomes this professor. Maybe Lucas and Dawn after becoming champion go back to stop Cyrus, so he seeks them out because he knows they are capable of messing with his plans. And in a twist Lucas and Dawn lose their memories so they continue through this mission to log every Pokémon in the Sinnoh region, but have flashbacks throughout. We could even have a surprise appearance from Cynthia in the past who comes back to aid Lucas and Dawn in this mission to stop Cyrus in the past.
What if it’s not from the past but actually the future... what if in the remakes or an alternative universe you fail and the world resets this time, and this is the new “pure” world
The only thing that pushes me to believe that this theory may not be right is the fact that the “narrator” in the trailer clearly says this is Sinnoh from the past when the book opens and starts illustrating... such an interesting theory though :)
I’d like to think legends is a prequel to diamond and this is Cyrus before galactic and everything and he found a way to travel in time and ended up getting stuck in the future and saw how awful the world became to him and thus his actions for diamond pearl platnium unfold
It would be something if the ancient professor is the big guy in X and Y. The big guy kind of sound like he would be responsible in something. Possibly the source for Ghetsis and Lysandre. Maybe not that elaborate with being not likely it'll be consist to come in the next gens for such thing, besides nudging hints if anything at all. Kind of makes sense if the big guy appears anyway near by on how old his back story was given, if not. Not likely a rival either, unless the ancestor other of Lucas or Dawn would nip at the protagonist along the way.
😲! Wait a minute, remember at the end of Pokémon Diamond and Pearl when Cyrus “assumably” died after entering that wormhole he created. Well what if he didn’t die and instead was sent back in time and is changing history so that the world turns out the way he wanted it, and that’s why we have the Team Galactic symbol on the uniform.
Honestly, I'm mostly interested in WHY it is believed that Arceus created Sinnoh. Especially cause it mostly seems that the texts describe it as the Pokemon that helped form MODERN Sinnoh, but characters in the games act like it's a God. These are all myths: exaggerated stories from someone who saw it happen but was unable to fully comprehend it. My guess (it's a wild one though): I think what we'll experience in Pokemon Legends is not just the story behind Arceus. What I'm personally expecting is the destruction of the world, Arceus stepping in, creating a copy of the world and renaming the old one the Distortion World. It was Arceus who banished Giratina to the Distortion World after all, and I'm expecting that that's what we're going to experience in this game. Also: I'm honestly surprised that people say that there's no link between Alola and Sinnoh/Johto. Dus everyone just forget about Malie City? You know, that city in Alola that has a garden that's based on the architecture of Johto and where they literally say that the city was created by those who came from Johto? All I'm saying: whoever this professor is, he's probably behind some suspicious stuff happening there as well. I mean, if this professor is the one who created these Pokeballs, couldn't he be the one who created Magearna as well? There's a story for a Pokemon Legends in Alola right there already. And Johto is the place where Pokeballs were originally invented, from the appricorn tree's there. Just to sum up: The place where the Pokeballs was created, the place where a Pokemon (who's purpose was to suck up the very life essence of other Pokemon, mind you) who looks like a Pokeballs first showed up, and the place where it is conveniently discovered that catching Arceus with a Pokeball weakens it greatly. And one professor conveniently visited all these places..... I mean, isn't that suspicious? Edit: Actually, if you stretch the story far enough, and the professor gets away, wouldn't that potentially be what could create the designs to Type: Null and Genesect? Type: Null was based on Arceus, but isn't this the last time that someone would've witnessed Arceus?
Oooh, we got a thing from Pokemon D&P Adventures, neve thought that would've been mentioned in a theory post, mainly the main line Pokemon manga would've had the glory..
I'm hoping they make a DLC for Legends Arceus where Dialga and Palkia takes you to modern Sinnoh which allows you to play the actual remake of gen4. That would be sick
So while most people may want a storage systems of sorts. Legends Arceus takes place 100 years prior to the pokemon league if remember correctly from the news we currently have. Limiting the trainer to 6 pokemon from a story standpoint has always been strictly a pokemon league enforced rule. From a game play standpoint was obviously done for balance considering you could fight against friends and to make managing such a large number of pokemon easier. However, and I'm not saying this is the route it will take because I'm sure they will find some form of storage and ypu can see in one of the fight scenes they do limit the player to 6 still. But, what if our "bag" is our storage amd we can hotswap the 6 at any given time so to speak because the 6 mon limit is strictly for a league that during the time period for this game doesn't yet exist. So there's no rule saying you can't have more than 6 pokemon on you at any given time.
This game is related to time and space pokemon and hints at generation or genisis with themes like god and "first pokedex/ball" I think because it is made of wood and most professors are named after a tree (oak being the first) I believe that Prof Oak is in this region due to some time and space shenanigans'... and the game may start off as we see it now but the game may go into some crazy twist and turns
Plot twist. It’s only set back in time because Cyrus achieved his goal of space and time with dialga and palkia. Went back in time to try and create a new world.
Team galactic is an energy company before it is an evil team. It probably became the biggest company next to silph co because the company was the first to create a dex for the region.
I think that in each village there will be areas where the Pokémon you catch can go to and as you fill up the said area they go to the next village and so on till you fill all of the specific areas with different Pokémon.
Not to mention that I don't think that they said anything about Pokémon natures so maybe we didn't discover the different natures of Pokémon until later on when we had more advanced technology.
I would like to see in the new pokemon game, there's a evil pokemon who is similar to yvatel but it steals the strength of pokemon and after each battle it gets stronger and gains another bar of health like the mini boss battles in xenoverse
i kind of don't want to be stuck with only 6 pokemon for the whole game because it wouldn't really make sense you making the first pokedex meaning you have to catch them and document them
It would be cool if Oak was a evil Professor I means he didn't let use ride the bike indoors so may as well make him the antagonist. But Cyrus as Professor would be cool as well.
Objection!!!! What if it’s not the professor. What if it’s another assistant like Cyrus‘s family members or some thing many many many many many years ago? And also Irish knew about outside of the notes was that his many generations ago one of his family members became obsessed? Or maybe You’re not the only one doing the research for the professor there’s got to be more than one other person in this game that would be not accompanying you but someone else in a different area within the game you can’t be the only one filling out all the Pokémon because of differences between each game there’s always going to be a variant difference between each game so there’s got to be another” trainer somewhere assistant” filling out the Pokédex as well. And if that’s the case what if they are the one that succumb to power?
Based on the minute and a half long video of early gameplay, in combination with one of the six pictures available, I have concluded that this game takes place in a separate dimension, timeline, and universe, where Cyrus is the king, because he is the only one who knows how to use pokemon, but he is old now and wants to pass the knowledge on to an heir, so he becomes a professor and instructs a student on how to catch pokemon, which accidentally causes a paradox, because he re-introduces emotion into the world, resulting in the future world that his past self wanted to escape. This is 100% canon.
What would blow my mind is if Cynthia's grandmother is the professor or the assistant because she tells you about Dialga and Palkia ( not sure when in the game but she tells you also not sure if it's Platinum only) what would blow my mind even further is if the towns name or were you start in legends of Arceus is called Celestic town or its called Floaroma Town because it looks like a town form the trailer and it has a gate so does Floaroma town but that's just my speculation. I dont care what it's called I don't care if I'm right or wrong I'm just saying my speculation about this whole thing also love the vids aDrive
Legends is supposed to be about 150 years in the past, so unless she’s 170 and was still having kids well into her 100’s I’m not sure how it would work lol. Awesome idea though!!
I know this is wild, but what if the portal cyrus went through in the anime was to this world and he turns out to be the professor, his bird perch for his honchkrow
What if for the pc replacement they make a farm type building where you can drop your Pokémon off if you don’t want to use it anymore similar to the pc, so you’d just have to talk to the farm owner and tell them which Pokémon you wanted to take out similar to the daycare
Tbh I think it will be more of a carry chest or somthing. Having to run back to the village to drop off Pokémon every time you reach the 6 limit would be very annoying. We already have access to the pc boxes straight from the bag in other games, so just storing our Pokémon in our backpack isn't that much of a stretch.
So wait... is legends arceus basically the 4th game of the diamond, pearl, platinum trio of games? Different time and such, but the penultinate game to fill in the arceus gaps people had since gen 4 first released. Owo
When they pointed out the similarity to the Team Galactic symbol I thought that we would play through the game as the bad guys. That could be an interesting twist......but also would lead to some questions as to how it gets resolved and how the game would end. (You don't want to scar kids with thinking they're evil)
7:55-9:15 Or Cyrus went back in time with dialga when he succeeded in a different timeline but made it were he failed because of his time travel like the main timeline but different goal Or I am just theriozizing to hard and watching further probably wrong but idk

This is for real!
aDrive love ya vids and I’m so excited for Pokémon Legends Arceus
Give me a second. MABYE CYRUS DIDNT DIE LEGENDS ARCEUS IS CYRUS WORLD
wait..
Legends Arecus happens before DPPt so thats not gonna happen
@@markkisinski110 no what if he used dialga to go back in time lol smh
Oak from the past had such a cool pokeball for his Charmeleon
Hey aDrive, do you ever clean the dust buildup from your Switch? The vents on top make it pretty easy for dust to build up. Just use some keyboard duster and it should start working much better. Might also do that outside cause it'll blow dust everywhere.
Maybe Pokemon Legends is Cyrus' world.
This game has a chance to fill in the lore gaps we currently have, I hope they are able to deliver on that.
I think they symbol marks the player out as a research field aid.
However it's quite close to the Galactic symbol.
The trees only increases the original mind blow
Every time you catch a pokemon after your first six, you must let go one pokemon and replace it with your most recent catch. Similar to what they did in Pokemon Ranger Shadows of Almia.
I think you may be the creator of the azure flute, the plates, and the red chain. Along with the Professor who had come up with the concepts but thought it would be too dangerous for them to handle themselves.
If this potential plot is true, imagine this:
Who apparently will provide you pokeballs for your journey? The professor. Who would then obviously have pokeballs? The professor. If evil/corrupt, who would you have to engage in potentiall the first pokemon trainer battle at the climatic moment of the game and will likely have a team comprised of some of the most powerful pokemon Johto, Unova, Alolah, and potentially Sinnoh have to offer? The professor!
This made me think this may be before the creation of pokemon centers so it may be more cooking and focus on berrys
What if Cyrus himself is the new professor and he calls himself "Cyprus" now?
I’m telling you, the new professor is going to be Calle “professor Bonsai”
It would be something if the ancient professor is the big guy in X and Y. The big guy kind of sound like he would be responsible in something. Possibly the source for Ghetsis and Lysandre. Maybe not that elaborate with being not likely it'll be consist to come in the next gens for such thing, besides nudging hints if anything at all. Kind of makes sense if the big guy appears anyway near by on how old his back story was given, if not. Not likely a rival either, unless the ancestor other of Lucas or Dawn would nip at the protagonist along the way.
Oh I dove head first into the rabbit hole and I’m chilling with Alice and the mad hatter drinking some tea watching this
Your all late for tea! (Smash!)
My guess (it's a wild one though):
I think what we'll experience in Pokemon Legends is not just the story behind Arceus.
Just to sum up:
The place where the Pokeballs was created, the place where a Pokemon (who's purpose was to suck up the very life essence of other Pokemon, mind you) who looks like a Pokeballs first showed up, and the place where it is conveniently discovered that catching Arceus with a Pokeball weakens it greatly.
Keep up the great content!
I think we will finally get to see how pokeballs really work now.
A personal life bar! Wow, this game give so many exciting questions. I would be thrilled if that is in Arceus Legends.
I hope darkrai came in the game
It would be cool if the starters would be random every time you start a new game
DAAAMMMMNNNN. how do you upload so many videos in one day?????
Plot twist. It’s only set back in time because Cyrus achieved his goal of space and time with dialga and palkia. Went back in time to try and create a new world.
Team galactic is an energy company before it is an evil team. It probably became the biggest company next to silph co because the company was the first to create a dex for the region.
I’d really like to see a mainseries Pokémon game be that deep and more, hopefully something similar occurs
If it when legends arceus makes it big. I’m curious if they will make a same thing but with different Pokémon and legendary.
that would be cool
what
@@vamce2951 hes saying if the game is good, could they make more pokemon legend games with different legendary pokemon.
@@joshcass864 exactly
@@joshcass864 thanks for the translation, this dude’s English makes no sense LMFAO
This is a theory what if Cyrus used Dialga to go back in time in an alternate reality which would be Pokémon legends Arceus
Your awesome Adrive
0:02 "Pokemon Legends Arceus the newest title in the Pokemon main series. . ." *Sad Brilliant Shing Pearly Diamond noises*
The logo almost looks like the elite four symbol used in the TCG. They were released in DPPT
I would like to see in the new pokemon game, there's a evil pokemon who is similar to yvatel but it steals the strength of pokemon and after each battle it gets stronger and gains another bar of health like the mini boss battles in xenoverse
Oh I forgot. Great video👍
🤯🤯🤯🤯 ive got nothing to add. Very good theorie😳
this game regardless of the way it looks or plays has the potential to give some of the best lore about pokemon we've ever had
First
Great info as always I CAN NOT WAIT FOR THIS GAME. BEEN WAITING FOR THIS TYPE OF GAME MY ENTIRE LIFE!
i kind of don't want to be stuck with only 6 pokemon for the whole game because it wouldn't really make sense you making the first pokedex meaning you have to catch them and document them
It would be cool if Oak was a evil Professor I means he didn't let use ride the bike indoors so may as well make him the antagonist.
But Cyrus as Professor would be cool as well.
Maybe the profesor on legends could be a version of Cyrus itself, or one of he's ancestor's, who knows
Best thing about pre-maingames are theorie vids
Objection!!!! What if it’s not the professor. What if it’s another assistant like Cyrus‘s family members or some thing many many many many many years ago? And also Irish knew about outside of the notes was that his many generations ago one of his family members became obsessed? Or maybe
You’re not the only one doing the research for the professor there’s got to be more than one other person in this game that would be not accompanying you but someone else in a different area within the game you can’t be the only one filling out all the Pokémon because of differences between each game there’s always going to be a variant difference between each game so there’s got to be another” trainer somewhere assistant” filling out the Pokédex as well. And if that’s the case what if they are the one that succumb to power?
It could be just because they updated the logo for the future...you don’t exactly always see the Original logo for things all the time
Pretty crazy the game is 1yr away and people are trying to break down the story by the few trailers/pics we've gotten
Love your vids
Thank you Niko!
Awesome idea though!!
im comenting at 7mins in video. they could add that the pokemon you catch end up living on a pokeranch say you live on a farm
I know this is wild, but what if the portal cyrus went through in the anime was to this world and he turns out to be the professor, his bird perch for his honchkrow
Maybe legends arceus has a good team galactic before they became evil
It's probably a company logo for a company that is sponsoring the expedition, like in sword and shield with the whole sponsorship deal...
Legends takes place when the first sinnoh Pokédex was made so I doubt it’s a company logo
I would like to see Jotho before the tower the use to house the Legendary Lugia.
So wait... is legends arceus basically the 4th game of the diamond, pearl, platinum trio of games? Different time and such, but the penultinate game to fill in the arceus gaps people had since gen 4 first released. Owo
When they pointed out the similarity to the Team Galactic symbol I thought that we would play through the game as the bad guys.
That could be an interesting twist......but also would lead to some questions as to how it gets resolved and how the game would end. (You don't want to scar kids with thinking they're evil)
I'm calling it now. One of the mid-late game key items WILL BE the RED CHAIN.
7:55-9:15
Or Cyrus went back in time with dialga when he succeeded in a different timeline but made it were he failed because of his time travel like the main timeline but different goal
Or I am just theriozizing to hard and watching further probably wrong but idk
In Pokémon 4ever the movie you see oak using a wooden style pokeball, so the pokeball in this game is simply an updated one from then.
Instead of a PC what if it is a farm and it is just open with all the pokemon you have captured. And what about buying pokeballs or reviving pokemon.
That's an amazing theory. 👏
