- Today, we talk reasons why FedEx didn't deliver your package. These are known as FedEx Delivery Codes and all couriers have these codes. UPS and Amazon especially. From getting an indirect signature to unable to deliver due to construction or maybe you accidently put the wrong address. Whatever the case may be, I'll explain in the video.

I’m the opposite . I work for FedEx and I knock ring the doorbell and sometimes I wait like 4 minutes no one comes to open the door . I don’t want the customer to miss their product then I’m about to leave and the customer opens the door finally lol
i always ring the doorbell, and wait. ... and ring it again ... and wait. and then ring it a bunch of times just before leaving. one time i did that - rang the bell like 20 times, rapid fire, because i was SURE the person wasn't home, and as I was waling back to the van, the guy opened the door, angry as a hornet. I was like "oh yikes! sorry! didn't mean to be so annoying." I don't even think he understood that we CAN'T leave the package without a signature if a signature is required.
you didn't go over code "FU" its when a driver decides to drive past your house without getting out and marking that a delivery attempt was made.
I quit ordering directly from Samsung because FedEx keeps falsely claiming I wasn't home. I never had a problem with UPS.

Yesterday, I was in my vehicle, the FedEx was passing by on foot, I literally asked him do he have a package for my apartment number, he said no, I looked at the FedEx site on my phone 30 minutes later, and the next thing I know, it said failed delivery, and there was no missed sticker on my door, so the driver straight up lied. He probably didn't want to deliver because it was a memory foam mattress, and he didn't want to use his dolly. I would've been more than happy to go with him to his truck, and get the package from him myself, all he had to do was be honest. Lazy f*cker!
might have been on the fedex ground vehicle, and you were talking to a fedex express guy. They have multiple branches delivering on similar routes, so it could also have legitimately not been on that guy's truck.
Or maybe he vanned it but was asked to leave it under the belt because he wouldn't be able to make the 400 + stops asked of him that day. Any number of possibilities.
I’ve had someone ask me like this before. And I checked the scanner, not on my scanner but is on the truck (didn’t know till end of the day) bc the package handler didn’t scan when they loaded it. And on a route like mine. If it’s too far to drive , I’m not bringing it back for that one package if it’s gonna take too long. We have to keep in mind our d.o.t time. I get paid by the stop so I def want it delivered. Plus something big like that. I wouldn’t want to work around it all day.
FedEx driver stole my valve steam deck. I was at front porch waiting all day. FedEx truck pulls up and waits 2 mins then drives off. Marks the item delivered and lied during investigation that he dropped it off at front door. Stupid him, I have cameras and caught him in his lies. FedEx still denied my claim because it was marked as delivered.

Lmao same here waiting on secretlab package i intercepted the driver told me no and then i get an update the exact hour he came by saying he wasnt able to get in contact with someone when i clearly made a note that someone was inside he only had to knock ….. called to have it shipped on a day i was home and still delayed called support and they told me yeah driver can pick it up when he feels like it….. no i ask for it on monday it need to be on my door step on monday gave them 4 days to get their shit up straight and they still fk up. Fedex im so done with you
FedEx has to be the worst shipping company of them all, for the 2nd time in a month I waited at home all day, only to be notified late in the evening it’s been delayed.
I cannot stand FedEx…and in the future, I will not purchase from a company that uses them.

Funny. I just got off the phone with FedEx asking why my today's scheduled delivery was not delivered even though a FedEx truck passed my house twice this afternoon. My online tracking went from "Out for delivery" to "Delivery Pending." It really pissed me off.
Then, while listening to your descriptions as to why something might not get delivered, the FedEx truck drove by my house again for the third time, but this time stopped and delivered my package. So, I am guessing that my package was miss-loaded on the truck and he couldn't find it earlier, but the driver did deliver it before 8 p.m. CST. Your video of explanations made me a lot less angry with FedEx, and the driver. Thanks.
FEDEX has attempted twice to deliver my package but said I wasn't available to sign for it. My wife and I work from home and were here when they said we weren't. Nobody knocked on the door, nobody rang the doorbell, and there wasn't a tag written and placed on the door, both times. Really disappointed in the dishonesty. A packed shipped by FEDEX previously was delivered to the wrong address even though the shipper provided the correct one. If you call the service center, you'll be talking to someone in India that will only make you more disappointed since they know only what you can see for yourself on the website.
Facts. The work ethic and culture of this company is a joke.

3:24 I wish I had you as my driver. Yesterday there were four people at my home, five if you count air b&b. I got a notification informing me that at 1:42pm there was an attempt to deliver, but the package could not delivered because the customer was unavailable or the business was closed. Customer signature required.
Here is the thing, no one knocked, no one rang the doorbell, nothing. Everyone but me works from home, but I was home during the time they claimed to have tried. Had anyone gotten near the driveway, our dog would have gone ballistic and let us know. Not only that, but we have cameras at every entrance of the house (4). We reviewed it, no one from fedex came. We got our regular mail, and an order from amazon, but not them. We knew about those because of our dog, as none of those orders required a signature.
You clearly went to the door, I am not even sure they came to my street. I will be giving them one more chance, but if this happens again, I will ask for a hold and file a complaint.

Happens everytime to me. Packages are always 4 days late. I will not order if I know they are shipping fedex.
Just few days ago, they “delivered my package at 11:59 pm” when I saw the message and went out to the front door at 1 am! There was no package… FedEx made me lost that money for my car’s engine parts… is there a way I could file a claim? They “opened a case and bla bla bla…” still not assuming their fault!… somebody would know what to do in those cases?

Great video. Unfortunately- my experience with Fed Ex right now is terrible. I would like to also know why so many people have such a negative experience with Fed Ex. The level of dishonesty and poor customer service I am experiencing right now is so upsetting. I hope something major happens that allows Fed Ex to be more accountable to customers.
I feel you, Fed Ex has been absolutely terrible lately I recently ordered wakeboard and I wait by the table where there is a window to my front yard and just see them go past and it really bothers me how they get away with these kinds of things
they just need to hire better drivers (not to brag, but: like myself :D ) ... and it is difficult to keep drivers there, I think, and probably because of the size of the packages! It gets crazy sometimes. like, literally in-human what we are expected to do. But - on the days when it is "crazy" I just work late. ... then people are still probably going to be complaining about how late the Fedex driver was

How do you do that? I would totally prefer to pick up packages at an authorized business, where they will check my ID when I go pick it up.

Since I used to work for FedEx, I literally know the FedEx driver who comes to the office and he knows exactly where to go. That's why I have most of my packages delivered to my job.
FedEX claimed delivered. We were here all day. No package! No chance for theft.
just today they called straight up lying they made an attempt. i checked the camera and not even gasper the ghost was seen at my door. i ain't gonna waste my gas to pick my package there.

I am home every single day and FedEx has done this with every single delivery. It isn't a situation where it occasionally happens. It is the norm.
I like Amazon because you can see the delivery truck on a map approaching your house with how many stops before they arrive. All shippers should have this feature.
What FedEx Philly Drivers do is send you a BOGUS DELIVERY EXEMPTION MESSAGE saying Package cannot be Delivered due to some unforseen reason So they can stall your package and look through it to see if it's worth stealing.
The FedEx Tracking said my package was out for delivery all day Monday, then again all day Tuesday, and now all day Wednesday, left a note yesterday while I was here, didn't knock, just left a tag and snuck off. I'm fed up with it, putting up cameras to catch this happening. I'm so tired of the BS from FedEx. Between losing a package recently for a whole month, to giving my package to the wrong driver. The FedEx drivers in my area, are just down right terrible.
Do they train you guys not to knock on the door when there's a signature required? My FedEx driver never does. The other rule, always tell the customer that the package is delivering a day earlier so that you can tell them it's running late. Both of these things are a constant.

Not a good idea, especially since it could be glass or chemicals, that could cut you, or react badly with your skin, or something to that effect.
You forgot to mention code for bombs away, package thrown from truck, then rapid speed off down the road.
My package says “delivered , left at door” nothing here! And no one ever rang the door bell either!
A buddy of mine who used to work at fedex told me once that he took a nap during his lunch break, overslept and had to do pickups and still had some stops left so he did the best thing he could and smashed some packages in his truck and coded them as inspection 😂 had me laughing when he told me that story

there is technically three signitures Indirect, Direct, and an adult signiture and adult signiture is generally alcohol
a lazy code is usually a 34 where it says future delivery required
sometimes we use the code for holidays or if the weather is bad

FedEx delivered my package to the wrong house and they never help you, FedEx has the worst customer service.
To me they are doing worst than a lie! They leave me hanging when I ask for a manager. And the girls who answer the phone tell me that the package was picked up when it arrived in the US by USPS. In their website I can see that it was picked up by them, and it traveled from Miami all the way to Tampa. They are stating that they do have the package, but that because it was given to them by USPS, and they are supposed to deliver it, that they can’t because it is a PO Box. But in their website the USPS never had it. They were supposed to give it to USPS so that they would do the final delivery.
WHAT IS GOING ON IN THIS COUNTRY. WHY IS CORRUPTION SO OUT OF HAND!

Just lazy is the explanation. Always says attempt delivery, when home all day waiting. Right now waiting for a scheduled ground pick up today, waited all day. No show! Security camera pointed at road to see when truck arrives.
I was waiting for a delivery all day, driver delivered to wrong address and even took the signature from the wrong person at the wrong address. Correct address was on label, driver was too lazy to go to correct address. I had no choice on choosing the shipper either...

Things that I really hate is being notified as delivery attempts but there is no signature required. Just leave the package in the front door.
Or if there is a scheduled delivery on the website or on time, but the package is not even in the state for delivery
I’m waiting on my daughters bed frame. It was suppose to show up yesterday. I saw the driver stop in front of my home and leave. Delivered nothing to no one. He better not have my package. My daughters mattress is sitting on the floor.

I work for FedEx Express Canada 🇨🇦 and I think following the time commitment to deliver the Priority Overnights/International Priority packages by 12:00 would prove difficult to vlog at the same time. Ground get more stops and packages on average but generally don't have time commitment that Express have.

Its my second day in training at fedex to become a delivery driver. Yesterday we had to help a guy that was havibg trouble delivering packages.
99% of the time it isn't the driver. It's the FE pit stops around the country where the package just sits around for days or a week or so.

There are companies I won't do business with for no reason other than the fact that they use Fedex. Fedex costs too much in damages and time to gamble on. I wish they would go under already.

Fedex is absolutely horrible. I NEVER ship with them. Every single package ive EVER had shipped by fedex never shows up and i have to pick that up from them an hour away. Hundreds of people complain and give 1 star reviews on our local fedex.. its extremely frustrating and i dont know how the drivers here keep their jobs.

What about when they don't ring the bell and leave u an attempted delivery notice and you catch them and they say uh I don't have it.... I was told to put that sticker on your door but parcel is late cause we suck......how is this shit company allowed to exist in 2022
Code 7 when it doesn’t require a signature is actually something contractors get fined for if the terminal catches on. It’s better to code it 34. This will buy you a extra attempt and will not cost the contractor any money. A lot of drivers however get addicted to this code and abuse it
Or meet up with another driver and code it 12 for wrong route and put it on his truck at the end of the day loo

Lol yea. But only in have to situations. Fedex gives our contractor hell and I try and do whatever I can for my contractor. He been good to me compared to other contractors.
I saw two FedEx drivers on my street the day my bank overnighted a cashiers check both drivers said they didn’t have it and the cashiers check never showed up…
Fedex is the absolute worst. They lie and say attempt was made but Im home all day and nobody came. Then they "reattempt" delivery next day, nobody comes, and now its supposedly being sent to my local Walgreens for pickup. Probably won't be there either.

hey man, you seem like a nice guy and all... but this video strengthens my belief that fed ex is the worst delivering company out there.
I bought a 3000$ pc and it shipped a few weeks ago after 6 days of delay and guess what it was broken and they won’t give me a refund 10/10 service
I have watched them drive right by my driveway only to receive a failed attempt notice 30 minutes later! They lie all the time about it. There's entire blogs about it. They have the poorest customer service rating!!!

I do the IC route currently its rough after you hit 25 stops i usually average 10 stops an hour though although sometimes the drive time is super bad like 15 minutes for certain stops Most packages i can carry with my arm that route gets you buff
I usually only have 3 hours to deliver before pickups too which is rough one time i had 50 stops and that was hell

Speaking of codes, I had a 100 pound package today and it was for a 3rd floor apartment building. I was gonna code it 34 and just let the next guy deliver it tomorrow (I’m off tomorrow) but I thought about it and it would’ve made me a jerk so I delivered it

If I passed it and it’s 10 or minutes behind me owell. FedEx dispatched us at 9:30am (one hour late) but we can’t be 1 minute late to the 4pm pick up window? Yea I’m not wasting 20 minutes to go back for a package

I hate fedex, if they don't see a car in my driveway they assume nobody is home and says attempted delivery nobody home. There is always someone here since my grandmother lives with me and my wife is stay at home. I was sitting in the side of my yard and see them pull up and stop for a few seconds i assume to type in that he attempted delivery and drive right off, god forbid i have a garage and use it. Didn't even pull into the driveway. I hopped in my car and chased him down and made him come back to my yard and give me my package and i chewed his ass out for it. They are supposed to leave a tag if they try to deliver but they haven't done that in years. They don't do their job properly and it's the drivers fault, lazy workers need to be fired. Thankfully this worker got in trouble because i called and sent video showing him not actually trying to deliver packages. He hasn't been on this same route since and a different guy does it, but get this he does the same crap of not stopping. I gave up reporting these crappy workers and simply never use fedex.
OMG Yesterday i took a day off work, put a note on the door saying i WAS HOME ALL DAY, and waited for my fedex delivery of an arcade cabinet. Around 2pm i look out the window and see the fed ex truck. I put on my shoes go to the door and..... HE'S GONE!!! If i wasn't home alone with toddlers i would have jumped in my car and found him. I checked my security cameras and this SOB never even knocked on the door. He walked up to the door, read the message, went back to his van and DROVE AWAY! I called fedex and got the run around from somebody overseas. Guess i'll be sitting here again tomorrow...lol. Ima catch him this time...LOL
Nothing worse than carrying a big ass package that needs a DSR and nobody is home, now you have to carry it back. I've learned my lesson and now I don't bring the package to the door until I confirm someone is home lol

If you deliver to the wrong address, you should go back and correct your mistakes. FedEx drivers are really bad with completing their jobs

For me Fed Ex delivery has degraded severely over the past year. On several occasions drivers have coded deliveries as invalid address even though they delivered the day before. The last time was a week ago. Overnight air priority delivery was scheduled for Friday. Delivery was coded this way. Delivery ended up being delivered on Tuesday because Monday was a holiday. 2k mediation was ruined and had to be replaced. Package scheduled for delivery yesterday is now in South Carolina because it was mis routed to opposite side of the country.

or the one I always get from my fedex deliveries " Customer not available or business closed". Look I get it, I live way out in the country; but cmon. Lazy code all the time for my address

great... but today I got notice that "delivery attempted... no one home or business closed". However I was home all day. Clear view of my door, driveway, road and Fedex absolutely did not come to my address. there was no door tag. left... maybe cause the driver was never here... Also, no signature required. so why was the package not left ? ... if the driver was actually at my address? the roads were open. was the driver lying??? seems like it. The package is already late. Called fedex and they were no help at all. Said I could go pick it up like an hour a way. It's not my job to deliver the package. You should work for UPS maybe. you seem cool.
Happening to me..yet it’s a Christmas gift and I need it badly, I don’t want it to be sent back to the shipper and it’s not letting me direct it for pick up. It needs a direct signature, but I had someone stay at my home all day and it said they attempted delivery at a certain time and no one was there..but someone was there at that time. I’m hoping it will come but I can’t keep having people stay behind at my home, I’m also hoping it wasn’t stolen..I will never be using fed ex again.
@@ameenadhaliwal9419 Going through this same exact thing right now. My package was out for delivery 2 days ago and @8:21pm I got the delivery exception/customer not home bs tracking update. I was actually outside at that time and had been for an hour prior. The rest of the day I was sitting near the window facing my front door and street. No fedex truck even came at all. Yesterday it just said arrived back at the facility and today there's no updates at all. I'm so sick of them! It's ALWAYS something every single time and customer service is useless. From this point on, I'm going out of my way to avoid having anything shipped by them.
I went through the same thing, But in my case, it was a Samsung product, and they wouldn't even allow me to pick up. I just quit ordering direct from any company that uses Fedex to ship.

The drivers wear Fed ex uniforms but are hired by non FedEx franchised delivery firms who have FedEx trucks loaded with I don’t give a sh*t attitudes.

This happened to me yesterday and today. I have a ring doorbell and each day no capture of a FedEx delivery truck ever stopping or driving past my house. Wonder why they don’t leave a missed delivery tag on the door anymore. And it’s funny when a car is parked each day on the property.

This fedex drivers slows down looks at the door. It didnt pull in the parking lot and then the f just drove off. He didn't get out of the truck. Worse delivery people. Atrocious. Dont even attempted. Fire these type of people and leave room for people that care. Disgusting

This is only for express how about ground SP packages that needs to be delivered.... Really hard to explain to the callers specially the content of the package is really important hayst
what about when they say it is delivered and signed for but the name is wrong and the package is not here?
I have a video of a Fedex driver drove to and parked below my driveway, picked up a package from behind his seat, drop the package back down, and drove off. He never left the truck, but he left with my package.
Concerning the "misplaced packages", if you are one who is recieving a daily rate, the less time you are out there, the better, and the person may just not have the time to back track 10-15 or more, minutes back to a location for a package or two, when they can just do it the next day, since more likely than not, they will be back in the same area delivering more packages. Not to mention, if you have already delivered something like 140 stops worth of deliveries, you are likely tired from all the running around.

Truck pass by my house at 11.41am And has not passed since. Tracked item and shows it was delivered at 1.01pm. Today is Sunday so will be calling in tomorrow. They better have a explanation and refund my full purchase if they lost my item. I have never had a issue before.
I don't understand why some packages come through fedex and some ups, but the one time I ordered a $300 package it was shipped through fedex and i still haven't seen the package, there should be options to choose who you would rather deliver I don't car if its an extra $15 i would still pick anything other than fedex

01 security delay is what I usually use for gate access and 82? for road closures and weather delays
Bro they keep saying "delivery attempted" but there was no attempt to deliver my package whatsoever, it already said it was gonna take 2 WEEKS to get here, it's now been 4 days past what they said it was gonna take with the BS excuse of "delivery attempted."
Code 27 DNA or code 34 future delivery if you find a package that you find later in the day when you couldn't find it
