Part 1. A little fan animation I made in Blender. Spoilers for the end of the game, if you haven't played/watched it already. Thanks to Antony Oms and Utero Studio for the room assets.
If mono wasn’t a good boi he would’ve kicked six in the face Oh. And I have a script of this alternate dimension [Mono] *gets out of the tv* [Six] Hey Hey! [Audio] _Crack!_ _Six fell to the floor_ [Six] Agh! [Mono] *pins six to the wall* [Mono] *starts twisting Six’s bones* [Narrator] One minute later... [Mono] *climbs up to the windowsill* [Mono] *looks at his twisted creation* [Mono] *laughs*
Funnily enough, I never tought that Mono was actually trapped in the TV dimension. After having his trust and heart broken, he rather choosed voluntarily to stay inside his room, which represents an upscaled version of his bag, to shield himself from society and more heartbreak.
True that! In the promotional poster, we can see that the Signal Tower acts as sort of a “bag” for the Thin Man; signaling how he was just an older version of Mono, AND how it was his own shield against the world around him.
I love how the Thin Man's hat dropped out of nowhere (I believe referring to the cycle ending) and how Monos bag was underneath and when he put it back on I think he is starting to accept his fear or he won't be that trusting to anyone anymore or at least not for a while
I just noticed something. The Thin Man’s hat didn’t drop out of nowhere. When Mono pinned Six to the wall and was ready to punch her, you can actually see Tall Dark and Slender’s legs. And when he calms down. The Thin Man disappears.
I love this so much. I like how Mono was ready to attack Six for betraying him but he decides to let it slide because he’s kind that way, but he doesn’t let her actions go unnoticed by begrudgingly saying she can follow him if she wishes. And how he puts his bag on after seeing the fedora really shows how he’s aware of what he would have become and that Six proved to him why he wears the bag. I also like how Six decides to join along in the in, possibly hoping to regain his trust.
1:02 i think this part is really cool! where there’s the Thin Man’s hat and Mono’s usual paper bag hat underneath, and Mono chooses his own hat, kinda symbolizing how he was “supposed” to choose the Thin Man’s path but decided to make his own instead.
the fact that he stopped when he saw her scared of him just killed me because even if she did do that stuff to him he still has sympathy for her and to add on to that he lets her come with him edit: OML WHY SO MANY LIKES THO

You got my vote. It can be an ending where if you had all the hats, remaining glitches and have played the whole game once (Because you need the thin man hat.) then you are able to see that cutscene.
GUYS GUYS I JUST FOUND SOMETHING INTERESTING 0:51 What's really interesting is that as mono proceeds to slap six and pushes her against the wall, thin man appears behind him ( you can see the frame of the window becoming his legs and you can hear a sound effect with it), symbolising his descent into violence. But when he stops because he sees six is frightened of him, he realises that by commiting to vengeance, he's turning into his spiteful, bitter future self; his compassion returns and he forgives her. He's BREAKING the cycle. The thin man fades behind him disappearing, showing that he has chosen his own destiny. The hat didn't just appear out of nowhere. It fell onto the floor when the thin man faded away. THIS IS SO SUBTLE YET SO WELL DONE, I LOVE IT!!! Edit: six might've even been scared because she saw thin man behind mono, and she was frightened because she could see the boy's bitterness reflecting the thin man.
I love how Mono stopped himself from punching Six the moment he noticed that she was scared of him, that she wasn't fighting back at all. He might've thought that she dropped him for that reason, or just felt bad. If it wasn't for that, Mono would've most likely continued attacking Six out of rage
Same, i not a fan of violence. Getting nothing more than a slap in the face for having betraying and dropping your friend in the Eyes Monster's Abysse...yeah, it is more than fair.
Imagine Mono was actually just lying there and has powers to lift him up to where Six betrayed him. This could be the perfect entrance scene for Little Nightmares 3 and you could actually pick if you want to play as Six or Mono. Pls send this video to the developers. I really want Little Nightmares 3 SO BAD!!!

Wait , why didn't it occurred to me or anyone that Mono could've just zoom onto the tv like he did in this one ? Is it too far or he's too drained ? Or he was heartbroken and couldn't think straight and just kinda give up in the canon ending ?
Well I think six stole his powers and that is how she got through the tv just my way of saying it you hate me all you want that is just how I think that happend

This is insanely well made for a LN animation. Mono is really a good hearted child, he forgave Six after letting him fall that high and probably get consumed by The Eyes.
I agree but lets not forget this man was about to teach six a lesson with his fists and it's also quite strange to see a kind hearted kid like mono would get violent with six because she betrayed youd normally think that mono would try to talk to six about why she did it but this animation proves even mono has a aggressive side

Let's just think that THIS is the actual ending and not the one in the actual game. Also the fact that this showed how Mono still forgave six instead of killing her, is quite wholesome not gonna lie.

Damnnnnnnn this is the cleanest and most in-character little nightmares 2 fan animation I've seen so far. The fact Mono is even willing to bring her along with him after the shit she pulled is such a Mono thing to do. And that little subtle frustrated fist to the wall she did after he called her just adds so much character. This deserves way more views.
Man, imagine how conflicted Mono's mind after all of this, he must be really angry, and yet, he can't really hurt or abandon Six, because he still has feelings for her (no matter, love or friendship), that's why he called her to come with him in the end. My mind would be a real mess in a situation like this.

Some people under-estimate how hard it is to animate. I do stop-motion and it's already hard, I don't even know how hard it must be to do 3D animation like that.

I'll admit, I was afraid that this would be nothing more than "Six getting a beating" wish fulfillment... but I'm relieved you didn't go that route. Despite what everyone says, I think Mono wouldn't hold a grudge against Six. Hitting her isn't too out of character. He's right to be angry, but he hasn't shown a vindictive nature. Anyways, great animation! Very expressive and fluid. I'll love to see more!
Wow! This animation is incredible! I didn't think Mono could slapped Six. Thank God then he stopped. Can you make another such animation, but only a continuation? I'm terribly interested in where they will go and what their relationship is now.
Agreed, it's out of character for Mono to be violent towards Six after being utterly gentle and careful with her throughout the game. Regardless, the animation is smooth and the movement looks so natural. There's a lot of emotions and story told within this short animation and even by the lack of dialogue. (I can imagine how Six will be distant and refuse to hold his hand after that...not from out of her own anger towards how he resorted to violence at her betrayal, but at the thought that she doesn't deserve his friendship or even his remorse)

Yee. Even as Thin Man - when he grew older and had so many years to grow his resentment and anger at her betrayal - he never hurt her, just left her to sit and deform in the Signal Tower with the music box he knew she loved and gave her comfort. Heck, I wouldn't be surprised if Mono felt like crap just for hitting her at 0:45, even though the betrayal is still so fresh and vivid in his mind.

I still think mono would forgive her. And here is why: usually when you fall off of a high place mono screams. But at the end of the game when six drops him, he doesn’t scream. I am assuming he was either shocked or still believed that him & and six were friends

I think that he can't escape, even if he wanted. After all, there is no door handel on the side of ThinMan. The portal was maybe blocked or closed.

Damnnnnnnn this is the cleanest and most in-character little nightmares 2 fan animation I've seen so far. The fact Mono is even willing to bring her along with him after the shit she pulled is such a Mono thing to do. And that little subtle frustrated fist to the wall she did after he called her just adds so much character. This deserves way more views.

I'll admit, I was afraid that this would be nothing more than "Six getting a beating" wish fulfillment...
but I'm relieved you didn't go that route.
Despite what everyone says, I think Mono wouldn't hold a grudge against Six. Hitting her isn't too out of character. He's right to be angry, but he hasn't shown a vindictive nature.

Agreed, it's out of character for Mono to be violent towards Six after being utterly gentle and careful with her throughout the game. Regardless, the animation is smooth and the movement looks so natural. There's a lot of emotions and story told within this short animation and even by the lack of dialogue.
(I can imagine how Six will be distant and refuse to hold his hand after that...not from out of her own anger towards how he resorted to violence at her betrayal, but at the thought that she doesn't deserve his friendship or even his remorse)
