Just crossed 100 hours on my CT 1025. Agree with all comments about the right size machine for smaller property. I have 1/2 acre of horse corral and the Bobcat has been ideal and still fits through our 5’ gate
I have the CT-1021. Before buying I looked at several brands knowing what I wanted to use the tractor for. Bobcat fit very well and at a great price. Sure I push the limits on what it is capable in doing, it's not a bobcat problem. It just takes me a little longer, but still so much better than doing it manual labor. I'm happy with my bobcat. Before you buy think about everything you want to do. Buy a tractor that exceed what you want to do.
Good video ! thank you. The one mod I made for my CT 1025 was a new seat bracket, raises the seat up 1 1/2 inch and back 3 inches and added two more springs. It made it so much more comfortable to operate.
I have the CT1021 and I'm very happy with it. On my last tractor which was a JD I had a belly mower but opted for the Flail mower this time around for the CT1021. The flail mower is a game changer and I don't think I will ever go back to a belly mower. My neighbor has the equivalent set up in the Kioti brand and both of our tractor are almost spec identically. So far my dealership has been fabulous. I totally agree with you that in the end all tractors have their issues. There is no perfect tractor even though many You Tubers want you to think so.
Thanks for the comment. I think a lot of people these days are a tad over critical and expect too much out of smaller machines. I think the ct1025 is a great yard machine for residential and light farm work!
I just pulled the trigger on this after looking at the Kioti cs2520 and Cx model. Other than it not having a tilt steering wheel, I prefer the location of the loader hydraulic lever on the Bobcat. Ordered it with the loader, cruise control, pallet forks, and the 60' belly mower for $19k out the door.
I’m looking at a 2022 that didn’t come with a mower deck, so the mid pto was questionable. After a little research it did come with a mid pto from the factory but the 2023s and newer will only come with a mid mount pto if you buy it with a mower deck.
How easy is it to remove the front loader? I have a CT1025 and the dealer pushed a rear snow blower on me stating that I wouldn't want to be removing and reattaching the loader for a front blower.
As someone who has a front-mount snowblower on a Deere, I can tell you that swapping it out for winter is preferable -- and I'm not using my bucket in the snow and ice for anything. I do a lot of reverse driving with my rotary mower (brush hog) during the summer, and it gets old pretty fast. I'd hate to be doing that in the winter with snow. If it's not too late to change course and get the front-mount blower, I'd go that route. Obviously, if you're using your bucket/forks/loader continuously during the winter for regular work/chores, then it would get old swapping the loader on and off every time it snows. In that case, sure, rear PTO would be more convenient.
Do your mower belts ever rub on the hydraulic lines underneath? I recently noticed that mine had done so. I'm guessing I've raised the deck up without waiting for the belt to stop turning...
Just checked it's my dad's machine. He did have that issue as well and he took the hoses off the valve and pulled them back all the way out and re-routed them through a hole higher up in the frame. No more issue then.
Break out force is not your lift capacity. I have a kubota bx model and it was terrible half a bucket of fill I wasn't able to lift it half way. I upped the pressure and now I can lift a full bucket all the way to the top just make sure you have counter weight so some attachment on your 3pth the dealers have the pressure low so you don't bend the loader and you won't if you know how to run machines. I operate my own landscaping/grading business and I have been using the kubota for the last 3 years that is hard hard hours on it moving rocks and tons of fill.
Nice video. Have had many of the same issues. They all have their pros and cons. I too only got a season worth out of the deck belts and recently purchased the belt you suggested. HOWEVER, it is not the correct size. Original is 120", your recommendation is 123". You, or me either has a one off situation here or your information is incorrect. K5763-34710 I believe is the correct #. Don't suppose you'd like to buy this brand new wrong belt from me would ya? 😁
So the John Deere is better because it can curl as advertised? If you modify this to curl as advertised then you’ll bend stuff? Junk machine sounds like. Does the kioti also suck at curling
The pressure is reduced due to the snow blower attachment. It's the only major complaint online about these machines is a weak curl. Take it how you want. I personally think it's a good machine for an everyday home owner. You get what you pay for, definitely not arguing that.
@@daleofalltrades my only concern is the curl force. If there’s a way to remedy it then I’d for sure go with the bobcat since they are running better promotions than jd

Hi there thanks for sharing your two year review I have the ct 1021 and it's still going well only 145 hours on my tractor.

Good to know
Mine came with the front pto for mower deck

It's not bad. I have another video talking about just the snow blower and what's entailed on removing it

Not that we have noticed but I'll look closer
I've been pondering a fix. There doesn't seem to be a different way to have the lines routed.

What lights are you running on the rops?
Just some cheap eBay lights I believe

This is as essentially a coyote so I'm sure they have the same issue

@@Matt-n8j2l it may have been remedied on the new models?
